having now read the post down aways, I can see that there's been a few reviews, so why the delay?
Are they trying to avoid HL2? Or just torture us?

The delay of DvD is disheartening as I was starting to look forward to fugly-looking thing.
Does this mean Rennie & Collins are going to have to pad out that comic on the GAME site? :)
I'll only believe HL2 is delayed if they don't go gold by about the 23rd.
Valve are still saying the 30th, and they will probably move heaven and earth to put out as bug-free a game as possible and worry about patching straight after.

Still got release date 25th Sept down under at least thats what my supplier tells me(could be full of it) no date set down under for Cube version. HL2 has release date TBA from our supplier the september date has slipped though for sure.

well, tsk, I'm still not speaking to Tharg about messing up my entire winter schedule by not getting Dredd-con together, so i think a right good olde winge is justifiable..

im not a big gamer either.but i bought an XBOX for my son and played halo based on reviews i had read. i must admit.

took it up in januarynow its september. i play once a week. and go to the range as well when ever i can.
be very careful. it is truly addictive.

I had a look at a couple of reviews in Smiths today (had to wait for the 'youfs' to rip open the packaging and steal the dvd's first though)...
They do all seem positive, so I hope the delay is for fine-tuning and polishing purposes.

For a Dreddcon that pub where they held the evening do would make a good venue during the day also. Didn't they say it doesn't normally open on a Saturday. Or it could be a really bad idea.

I dislike the fact that DVD is delayed however, if it makes the game that little bit better as well as amping up the hype then i am happy to wait.
I am just hoping there are plenty of multiplayer characters to kill peeps online with, actually is worried that Judge Mortis won't be a playabe multi-player character
would also love to See Nemesis the Warlock as a little bonus
