But K.o.t.W. was done in colour and has only been printed in B&W, so it's not the way it's meant to be.

AFAIK, Kingdom of the Wicked *was* released in a colour version, but only on CoolBeans. Certainly, my copy of the series is in B&W and I don't recall ever seeing a print edition in colour.
