Title: It's about time
Post by: petemaskreplica on 29 September, 2003, 04:16:02 PM
Is it just me, or is this site currently occupying a point about 70 minutes in the past?

That will be the bi-annual 'USA changes clocks back/forward on different dates from the UK' error.

tsk. damn yankees.

I thought the site had moved to a U.K. server though? Did that never happen then?

Mind you, even allowing for Daylight saving, it's sill 10 minutes slow ;)

We're still on a US server, albeit a dedicated one. The only sites on this machine are www.2000adonline.com, secure.2000adonline.com and www.2000ad.org

I'm using time offsets of 21600 and 25200 (6 and 7 hours respectively). I'd rather not build in an extra 10 minutes just because the server's clock is a bit out. I'll try to remember to ask Barny to ask the hosting company to check it.
