This is an appeal to those of you that haven't yet joined, or have lapsed in your posting rights on the board.  When I look at the number of boarders registered I see a total in excess of 200 yet you only seem to see the same regular 20 (?) or so regular faces here.  Please join in or come back, we really aren't that scary and if you're not sure about anything just ask. (Make sure you don't as the evil trout though as he is a trully evil fishlike lord and master)

erm okay... well i was hiding in a corner being scared like the Trout commanded. i been lurking a while just to make head or tail of how things work around here. It seems a pretty fun place but i wasnt sure how welcome stranger in these here parts would be. will i get flambeed if i'm not in on the in-jokes ?

There's new in-jokes cropping up all the time, just jump on one of those...or even start your own.

And all the old in-jokes are constant enough that you'll soon pick them up.

Most of us regulars dont get the in-jokes either....

Unless you subscribe to every 2000ad related board, mailing list, etc

I'm just into my third month on this board & have to say it's a very welcoming and nice place.  If you don't understand something, just ask and 3-4 people will be happy to answer your question and then start arguing among themselves over something surreally irrelevant.

I try to look in here every other day, I frequent another site which I consider my "net playground" and which demands most of my attention online, but I do like to trawl through numerous topics here when I can.

I don't understand many of the in jokes either but that's cool, I did pick up that Scojob or whatever it was called was something of a prick sometime back.

Why I'm totally respectable now! I havn't leapt on a stranger to sell them fanzines for ages!! I even persuaded the mother-in-law that I'm a nice girl [poor deluded FOOL!!] Now I've got them all lulled into a false sense of security I can engage the next stage of the plan for world domination and compulsory Dredd for everyone. After I've made dinner and walked the dog anyway.
