Saw an ad on Toonami tonight:
3rd November - Teen Titans animated show. Very Anime style but they all look about 10 years old.
10th November - Star Wars: Clone Wars. Same folk as Samurai Jack and it shows. Anakin is still bloody annoying even when a cartoon.
>Teen Titans animated show
I've seen a couple of episodes, it's not bad, but a lot sillier than the other recent DC cartoons.
Steve
New series of Justice League is good though.
Nice to see how many animated cartoons are comics translations these days.

My son loves that.
I never suspected (though that may be because of poor english or somethin') that Darkseid was pronounced dark-SIDE.. Thinking it was something like DARK-seed......
I have no idea if any of the characters are true to form, but the series is rather excellent. My boy and I sit down at 18:30 and watch it to our hearts content.
Yer Slips
Yup, 6.30 each night is JLA time in this house too.
But what happened yesterday? "Ultimate Muscle" ALL day long???
I know, it was terrible!
No He-man, X-men evolution or anything!
Normal service today though.
I'm really glad my middle son loves Justice League though, as his middle name is Kirby!

JLA.
big fave in our house. my son constantly talks about it,
i have seen one episode and was very impressed.
i picked a free comic/graphic novel prelude based on his enthusiam. very good also.
though to note.
we are about to embark on, an expensive excercise of biulding a JLA hero clix team to take on daddys tooth characters.
just seen justice league yesterday,on tg4 and all irish channel and the voices were all changed to irish, very weird to hear green lantern and flash speaking in irish!
' never suspected (though that may be because of poor english or somethin') that Darkseid was pronounced dark-SIDE.. Thinking it was something like DARK-seed...... '
You see I always thought it was a germanic pronunciation (for some reason), hence it became Dark-SIDE.
I'm liking the new JLA on toonami, but Sky+ just refuses to tape it if you set it up in advance, so I'm not seeing much and what I am seeing isn't always in order.
What's X-Men evolution (the new series) like? I thought the first one was a bit childish (it was like it was made for kids or sommat).
TEEN TITANS is ace, but yes, very kid-oriented (although frankly, the Raven 'origin' episode would freak out most under-8s I know of). There's a tie-in comic called TEEN TITANS GO! (not to be confused with the recently-relaunched TT comic).
Enjoyed JLA but not sufficiently so to track down episodes, plus Hawkgirl is spectacularly irritating. JLA the comic has not been much good for, well, since Morrison left, IMO.
J-Bo-1
Blooming brillant this JLA series - did you see the one where they went up against Amazo?
I know its aimed primarily for the kiddies but - bloody hell - the fight between Amazo and Superman was a bit violent (Supes headbutting???) had me thinking of Marvelman vs Kid Marvelman
I'd heartily recommend the Justice League Adventures though for anyone with kids. It's based on the cartoon and is for kids in the same way that Robo-Hunter was. It's on a par with 'Verdus'. Lovely book. Each issue is self contained as well, which is a bonus.
Yeah DXB, but the problem is that i - raised on the Adam West TV series - root for, of course, Batman but Samuel (raised on Balomory, Tom and Jerry and Thunderbirds) plumps for the Flash.
Go figure.
Here's a game fromthe Cartoon Network site.
Good fun, but a bit too easy.
