After an hour or so spent lurking around the various daily Threads I like nothing more than reviewing the Covers from different eras of 2000ad. I think a (looseleaf?) book of these covers would be something well worth shelling out a few sheckels for.
Does anyone else share this passion of enjoying the covers of a bygone age or am I alone here?
You could arguably do them as 100 copy booklets with a brief synopsis of the contents of each prog on the reverse of each page.
I reckon this would be popular with committed fans & would probably be quite cheap for Rebellion to do, so what about it?
hi there
welcome.
we had this idea muted a few months back. i think we ran a poll on it as well. you can have a look at our poll web page for details. the disscusion went some thing like. nice idea. great coffee table type book. but many of us would likley not purchase it. ( based on the boarders at least)
i liked the idea but was swayed when someone pointed out just how many volumes we would need and it would basically be a book opf prteey pictures which you would likley tire of easily.
still not to be negative. welcome to the board.
I wouldn`t buy it but I wouldn`t mind getting it as a Christmas present.
I think `mooted` is the word Devons Daddy is looking for.
cheers,
Floyd

Also wasn't there a problem that alot of the old, classic covers had the old (UGLY) logos literally stuck on and so any reprints would have to include the logos. That would put me off.

you should have been here a couple of months ago when we did the search for the greatest cover ever.
