Post by: chopper666 on 02 December, 2003, 06:43:02 AM
Hi folks,
Just wanted to tell you all that I have set up a new forum to discuss the Mongoose 2000AD roleplaying systems and their future. So if anyone is interested please check out the link below.

Thanks

Err.......what future? I thought they were dead, with no more support and no new titles being released by Mongoose for ages. Heck, their website hasn't been updated for about a year now.

I suspect that you're looking at the defunct site, which hasn't been updated for over a year because they got a new one.

There's a Slaine book that's supposed to be coming out this month, and a Dredd one in January.

Ah, that'll be it then. I was looking at the old site www.2000adrpg.com

Hope we can finally get the long await Rookies Guid to the Cursed earth one day.

Oh, don't worry about that...;)

Hopefully, I'm not giving too much away when I say that Mongoose have Big Plans for their 2000AD lines next year.

But you ain't seen me, roight?

Signs and Portents, Mongooses magazine has Dredd or Slaine articles in almost every issue, and the lines are not dead by any means.

Rookies Guide to the Undercity by Matt Sharp should be out early next year, along with The  Finians due out this month for Slaine.

Rookies Guide to Atlantis (my second book) should also be out with luck early in 2004 and there are loads more things that are in the planning stages right now.
