Yup, there's a comic mart on at the proper Newcastle (sorry 'Under Lymers' you are the false Newcastle) details from link below.
Solar Wind is having a trial stall selling issues one and two, plus Lenny Biscuits No.1 and Mike Neville Vs. The Monkey God by Ben 'Griefbringer' Clark. Plus we're getting rid of a load of yankee comics to pay for the stall. There'll also be old british comics such as 2000AD (It was big in the seventies), Victor, Commando and Eagle. So feel free to drop by and say hello.
Cheers
Paul

Ozzy is in hospital because he copied Death on a Quad bike.
How many times does it have to be said? Always put a warning lable on with 'Don't try this at home' on your horror comics.
Hi Paul
How many commandos will you have at the auction and how much are they going for.
Will you be in Nottingham in febuary 14
No auction, just flogging them off at the old comic pimping business, just trying to cover my costs at the Newcastle mart. Unlikely to get far beyond Newcastle to be honest, Leeds at the most if this goes well.
Oh well, getting my stuff ready to go (which I should have done last night), look forward to seeing any of the seemingly rare North Easterners there.
Didn't meet anyone from the board, but then DC and Mal are the only North Easterners I know on the board and they aren't Newcastle based. Apart from Satch who was the navigator/co-pilot of the Solar Wind Stall Shuttle.
Had a really good time in the end, which was the opposite of what I was expecting. Made a few quid of selling off some old stuff I didn't want, which I largely reinvested in some early progs (doh!).
Met plenty of friendly people, had a bit of chat (aha), sold a few solar winds, Lenny Biscuits and Mike Neville vs. the Monkey God and pleasently wasted an afternoon.
I would say to any small pressers curious about doing Marts is to have plenty of old comics you want to get rid of to pay back the money you've spent on a stall, so even if you don't shift a load of comics it's still worth it.
Mainly it's dealers of American comics and trading card sellers there Well, at the Newcastle one anyway.
