I strongly urge anyone who has access to digitial channel BBC4 to watch a re-run of the classic series 'A Very Peculiar Practice' over Chrimbo.
As it says in the Radio Times 'one of the best things on TV ever'. No understatment there.
A series telling the bizarre & increasingly unearthly goings on at a UK University campus taken over by a new American Principal - "the forces of darkness came from over the water - backed by massive research funding" ....
Both hilarious, barmy and utterly brilliant, if you watch one thing this Xmas then watch this. I promise you you will enjoy it. Honest.
nb Bob Buzzard Rules !!
A very fine series, and filmed in Birmingham to boot! :)
Series one definitely gets the thumbs up from this sauropod.

...and from this pig too.
It's coming out on DVD in January/February, and I'll be buying it without seeing it after something like 18 years. This is because I live in the only street in central Glasgow where they forgot to install cable, and I've just been made redundant, cancelling out the pay-shitloads-for-extra-channels satellite concept.
Does anyone remember what the second series was like?
that was a very funny show.
the second series. i cannot remeber that so much but i do know it was
a superb last episode.
very funny but sadly true twist to it all.
I loved this series and cannot wait to see it again. My last contact with it was reading the novelisation, which was by the writer and actually pretty funny.
Great series, very funny, if you can, watch!
Nuns!
"nb Bob Buzzard Rules !!"
He may rule but he was ever so wierd. And he was played by one of the Troughton boys so he's bound to be the new Dr Who then!!! Only joking!
This seies was pivotal along with M*A*S*H in sending me to Medical School, I'll be watching it with delight.
