Hi Guys
I have just been back to the Shoreline site, looking for updates on the Dredd film and the site has changed slightly.
I don't know if this is old news but both synopsises have also changed drastically. I know they changed a while back but I think they've changed again. If you look under film library, you get the choice of Shoreline Films and Riptide. I'm not sure what connection Riptide has to Shoreline but they seem to be producing the two Dredd movies. They are both still entitled Possession and Dredd Reckoning but from what I remember, these two new synopsises differ greatly from what they first had up there. From what I remember, I much prefer these two new ones, especially Dredd Reckoning, as the first draft was a carbon copy of the Stallone film.
My only minor concern is that the genre they appear under is Action rather than Sci-Fi. I do hope that they are not going to tone down on the special effects and costume budgets in order to save money.
Have a read and let me know what you think.
Oh and Merry Christmas to you all.

I have to say, that's a great little Christmas miracle - they sound good!
Personally I don't mind them trying over and over again until they get the bugger right!! I was worried at first about the plots of the movies, buit these new ones sound goood!!
What worries me is the fact that they require a huge budget in many ways, as low-budget sci-fi on this scale often goes very sadly wrong, and neither of these companies look able to stump up the necessary cash. Still, I might be wrong!
Posession sounds EXCELLENT, kinda like the first few Death stories rushed through at a breakneck speed, jetisoning the bad bits, and adding a bunch of other stuff to make it interesting for the fans. Dredd Reckoning still sounds a bit close to Sly's bash for comfort, but could be good I think.
I wouldn't worry about them not being classed as sci-fi, quite a few studios don't accept sci-fi as a genre: Alien is Horror, Aliens is Action, Blade Runner is Drama, Solaris is Romance etc. What bothers me is which comes first... Oh well!
Merry Christmas y'all! Sounds gooooood
These do seem much better than the previous outlines. :-) lets hope it's handled better this time around.

As far as I can see there's nothing new there.
Both synopses have remained the same since May.
They do look like the same old rubbish confused synopses unfortunately.
The synopses both still look appalling, I'm afraid - not as bad as Scojo's, but damn near.

My god, you couldn't really condemn it anymore could you!
"My god, you couldn't really condemn it anymore could you!"
Mmm - it was pretty harsh, wasn't it. Mind you, the little scrote would probably take it as a compliment ;-)
