Anyone out there got big plans for the evening, fell free to share though I think after New Years stories will be fun, I shall return to this thread with shameful stories of what I get up to...
CU have fun remember everything in moderation(if I could only take my own advice) Krestel
With any luck I'll be in the arms of a good (or if I'm lucky, bad) woman. And of course I'll be drunk.
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ONE AND ALL!!!!!
working
curse of the industry sadly. but none the less bottle of champagne in my hands will be a confirmed.
happy new year all.

CU Krestel
in a punch up probably...

At midnight I?ll be in my local pub
The Crossways, working behind the bar. Most of the bar staff want the night off as they wanna go out on the piss. So I get free beer all night, paid in cash and my tick bill cleared 8-)

In me local, the one eyed dog, dressed as a pirate, drinking rum and going aaarrrrrrrrr a lot with more pirates. Have fun!!!
At home, possibly - based on current weather reports - snowed in, with about 15 pisshead mates.
I've been on call and sober all through Christmas, so now it's time for pickled Trout!
Beer me!
- Trout
I'd rather be at a party with a good group of mates, but tonight I'll be treking round York pubs before seeing midnight at the Minster. And then a party (I have my bottle of port ready - I acquired the taste over Christmas).
I've had too choose from three options, Parr St (Recording Studio/bar here in Liverpool, The Sefton,(a local pub here) or stay in with Mum, and I've decided to stay in with Mum, well we lost Dad just over a year ago and I think she needs the company, and besides it's bitterly cold here and I don't fancy battling for taxis in the wee small hours.

good one logan ! what a community soul !
tank grrl that sound excellent.. arrrrrr !
well as yous prolly know, hogmanay is rather a big affair up here, increasingly huge numbers of southerners have sussed this & its THE place to be for new year, so the village is teeming with ernest new gortex wearing strangers looking for that friendly highland welcome. what they'll get is glowered at by bitter twisted & ignorant red-necks on chronic week long binge.
I was supposed to be at a beach party, but looking at weather ...! ! howling gale horizontal sleet & snow melt floody stuff...
so I will be mostly wishing i was somwhere else, without so much of other peoples shit to deal with...
Proving that you never get too old for 'Twister'
after seeing some of the people that frequent this board I'd doubt if many could actually just get their hands and feet on the first colours without collapsing 8-)

down the irish tavern probably, was there christmas eve and bart has bought my loyalty by playing dire straits and playing chess when it aint busy
maybe getting told 'get off' by drunk student girls, who knows eh
Just off to a friends party myself with Mrs Fishy and the little Fishy.
In me ain hoose with a bottle of Highland Park.
See Dounreay, see mental partying....
Happy New Year to all. May you all live so long the hairs on your arses sweep the ground behind you.
That lost something in the translation form the Gaelic I think.

AAAAAARRRRRRR!!!!
Anyone else have a blinder? Hope so xTGx
correction. Hangover has jus kicked in. uuurrrgghh!
i dont have a hangover either
yep my lucks definitely changed
left 3 jobs this year only to be back on same money as first job doing less work after a couple of hiccups and a minor op
also left the new year party at 2am just as the idiots got kicked out the pub and missed the puch up for a change (usually i walk straight into the middle of it)
its gonna be a good year this year
I know its a bit pointless now, but I spent NYE at Passion in Coalville - Top night! Funniest thing was, while we were waiting to get into the club in the sodding rain, a woman turned to her mate and said;
'Oh why cant we be like the australians and have NYE in summer?' NO JOKE! needless to say, i pissed myslelf laughing!
Hi all and a happy, healthy and prosperous new year to the lot of you.
Stupidly we agreed to have my brothers 2 boys for new year so they could go out! We had our son who is 23 months. Cam who is 2 and Francis who is 5 months and has never been away from mum before. The 2 eldest were great and went to bed ok. We were assured that Frank would be down by 6. Wake at 10 for feed. Then 2. Then 6. Did he heck as like. We were up all drokin night. Hey ho!
ahh you will get your reward in heaven tho madgirl, as stated on previous thread, having gone years without a babysitter or chances to party... i think parents should be allowed out as much as possible to preserve sanity. otherwise, well look what happened to me....
i'll happily babysit for anyone btw.... it only takes over 12 hours to get here.
You can babysit for my little angel any time! I havn't been out for i don't know how long.:-)
Madigrl, I know eactly how you feel! Bring your little angel over here, we can exchange babysitting and you can see Tokyo.
TOnight I`ll be watching Thunderbirds with my son and (if I`ve recovered from this flu) taking him out to the local bathhouse for shower and extremely hot bath fun - sitting in a very hot bath looking at a picture of Mt Fuji
I was in Holland, drunkenly dodging fireworks in the free-fire zone it seems to become at midnight... Great fun!
Steve
What exciting lives you lead. Love to visit Tokyo. I am sitting in a very cold and wet and windy Wiltshire at the moment.
It snowed a little bit today and my 23 month old son was standing at the patio doors saying "wow pretty snow. Bbbrrrr coooollld" It was so sweet:-)
Over new year my time was spent in Chester and the Temple of Elemental Evil (or rather the nearby villge of Hommlet).
