Is this one included?
1351
Yep plus the one below, sorry there are rather a lot you know :)
Whoa. You don't want to open this thread too many times, do you?
Nice work, Slippery.
But look at the choice there: alternative Jock covers, Langley paint jobs, foldout Alien stuff, some lovely Frazer work, Bolland's return... So many!
I nominate 1360 - the Ghost Ship homage.
It's really striking stuff and deserves to be in the voting, at least.

No you probably dont. I have a confession to make this is Bolt-01 work I told you it was sterling stuff. My web fu is weak, old man :)
Cheers Bolt
Yer Slips
1350
reminds me of the old annual covers
david
1357 - simply superb.
1349 - Mr. Random in his skivvies.
Steve
My God this is difficult. There were so many great covers this year.
Alan's (dear hubby) fav is the one with the Dredd shadow.
Mine is the Ghost ship. Love that simplicity that says so much.
Thanks for the hard work Bolt.
meg 207..that whole 'noir' look oozes class
the dredd noir cover and the reservoir dogs cover come close
there are several dredd covers bubbling under (most featuring death)
but after much deliberation prog 1332 gets my vote cos it looks really spooky and atmospheric
Link: prog 1332 cover
Prog 1353, and Meg 211 (this version, I mean)
i vote for 1338 yum
1335 - The Mighty Jock - nuff said!!
1349 - most interesting cover for ages
There's more covers here that I like than not- can't we just name this year as one of the best years ever for cover quality?
If not then (going for something that'll get me shot) but I liked it
In order of preference:

From the Meg:

and

On the hole I liked all Langley's covers, so it was very hard to single one out. If we have to choose best cover artist of the year, Langley gets my choice for his continued excellence this year (and the vast improvement in his artwork since his early 2000ad work).
This one gets my vote for worst of the year, as it was all new, irrelevant characters:
1322
1332
1349 for me.
Funny and educational.
We supposed to pick one or 15?
If it's just one - 1357 (The Descent Has Begun)
Another 14 - 1322 (The Enemy Within), 1323 (Moloch), 1330 (DROKK! JDvAliens), 1332 (Raising Hell), 1335 (alien horde version), 1338 (Sudden Impact), 1339 (Eater of the Dead), 1342 (Rock Lobster), M206 (Up 'Em!), M207 (Femme Fatale), 1349 (Raw Lobster), 1353 (Cuffed & Collared), 1370 (Lady Killer), EE2 (All My Own Work)
This is my reply on the Boarders Award Thread...
Oddboy asked about the nominations. You can nominate as many as you want, but only one nomination per item per person so dont vote for prog 2004's cover ten times. Top 15 or so* will go into the awards
Yer Slips
* - I have more slots than 15, but Id like to keep it manageable, if there a tie between 3 for 15th place well have 18 just to be fair
Righty-ho Slips.
m206 and 207 extreme 2 1363 1364 1359
further to oddboys statement and clarification of the rules - i would like to add progs 1363, 1334, 1338, 1324 and megs 209, 211, 2107 and 210 in that order

I'm going for Meg 207 and prog 1327.
I can't believe how weak my web-fu was on this.
I missed several of the wraparounds and I posted the BACK cover to definitive Maybe! FOOL!
Looking forward to seeing how the polls work.
