To contrast the negative threads that've popped up recently, I thought a positive one may be just the thing. So...
Who do you love? What makes you happy? What're your little personal pleasures? What makes you laugh?
I'll go first.
Love
- Cait: My beautiful but slightly mental* daughter.
- Joolz: My wonderful and sickeningly talented girlfriend (who makes kick ass animated icons and who some people have already nominated for in the awards thread).
Happy
- See last section.
- The bang of the letterbox on a Monday morning announcing the arrival (usually) of the Prog.
- Being able to leave work at the end of the day (especially Friday).
- Being appreciated.
- Still managing not to smoke.
Little Pleasures
- The chatroom. :)
- Reading on the loo (old Fleetway annuals are ideal bogside reading material, btw).
- Crisp sandwiches (smokey bacon).
- Doodling (although this should be progressed into actual strip work, I know).
Laugh
- Fred the Clown
- League of Gentlemen.
- Spaced.
- Viz (circa 1986).
- Weekend goths/moshers.
- Townies.

Shanie, my girlfriend. She is beautiful, multi-talented, and one of the nicest, sweetest people ive ever had the priveledge to know. Her kids are cool too!! And she's mental, also!
Happy:
My mates make me happy, just by being there and putting up with me.(I class all boarders as friends as well, so thanks to you all!)
My girlfriends cat makes me happy, even though he is the laziest little bleeder on the planet!
Tooth makes me happy, panting as i dash up the hill to GT hopeing the delivery isnt late!
The xmas episodes of 'the office' made me happy, especially the end which was some of the most moving comedy ive seen in a looong time.
Christ, this could go on forever!
Let me have a think about it for a while and i'll post some more!

All the small things: Buffy re-runs with jet grrl a bottle of plonk and a box o chocs, 'el presidente' hot dogs - the last word in comedy food, Jackass, Beavis + Butthead, getting a really satisfying PAAARP out of my mate's trombone and spontaneous pub-crawls.

Happy: Making other people laugh, sharing things, unexpected kindness, unlooked for gifts, unasked for love.
Small things: good drama on telly, seeing geese migrating and knowing Spring is coming, afternoon naps, half days at work, childrens laughter, coming home after a walk in the cold, finishing a painting and just knowing it has worked exactly the way you wanted, teaching yourself to do something new(I finally understand what those little tadpoles on sheet music mean),cup of tea and a good book, sledging!
