A lovely little link documenting the effects of LSD on an artist as he tries to sketch the face of a doctor. The resultant images as the drug takes a grip him are just as interesting as the comments he and the observer makes.
My fave is "4 hours 25 minutes after first dose"

Link: the acid test
I like the bit where it goes all Lovecraftian.
'I am... everything is... changed... they're calling... your face... interwoven... who is...' Patient mumbles inaudibly to a tune (sounds like 'Thanks for the memory).
"4 hours 25 minutes after first dose" i liked coz it looks like something you'd really see in a gallery (snigger...)
Also "2 hours 45 minutes after first dose" coz it's so weird i can't make out what it is.
"2 hours 35 minutes after first dose" looks like a fish with glasses.
No offense to the artist but i liked his second drawing much better than the first, just cause it's wilder with all those crazy lines. Of course this was done back in the 50's, no way you'd get away with something like that nowadays. Still, might make an interesting five page graphic novela...
Reminded me of something I heard in my bad old LSD-abusing days (long past, sadly).

Link: Spiders on Drugs
those are cool links. Is the artist one for real? The accounts of what he did as it took effect sound a lot like what we`d expect to hear. Could be real though. The pictures got very interesting, didn`t they, makes me wonder if Picasso ever took the stuff.
Floyd (who just never got around to LSD)
That sounds like a normal day for me....just without the drugs!
"makes me wonder if Picasso ever took the stuff"
you were thinking that too, huh.
hmmm, that year at glasto here the crusties became giant locusts....
ahem..LONgggggg time ago.
reminds me of that poor bastard on 'shattered' tonight who thought they were in an OZ soap. (i wuz only watchin it with kids, its sick)
I'm also reminded of me , sleep deprived & inert, here, now.............gahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh....
