When will the Dredd/Aliens graphic novel be available in the shop? I want it and I want it now...!
(Sorry, I'm doing Charlie and the Chocolate Factory with my pupils at school and I'm in Veruca Salt mode.)
Pete.
Well going by the advert in the Meg you should be able to buy it from the FutureShop but it's not there atm. Maybe awaiting the relaunch?
I know I'm going to get mine from there when they are all availale, Amazon is listing them as not available for 4-6 weeks + ?1.99 hard to find costs!
Gonna get mine from my book club - bit of discount and i've fullfilled a bit more of my obligation.
I was given the stock code earlier today, so it is now available to preorder from the Future Shop, and should be sent out soon after the 23rd Jan.

Excellent service as usual Wake.
Thanks a million!
Pete.
What Wake said - it's on the way from the printers' at the moment, and IMHO it looks pretty fine ;)

Only just connected with this thread, but....
Ive just recently watched directors cut of Alien3 from the quadrilogy box set, and it knocks spots off of the original cut.
If you into the film in any way, i strongly recommend giving it a watch.
Wul-the-thread-hijacker!
ordered from subs, it will arrive when its out i suspect

Hey Woolly, not sure if its a directors cut as such, just what the Director wanted to have (a subtle difference) at the time, but didn't get. Fincher seems to have nothing to do with the extras in any way, I guess in response to what he suffered at the time.
It's basically a much much better movie. It's flaws are obvious on seeing the features, in that the story was gutted from the start, keeping elements of the story that weren't even that great. Fincher did a great job with practically no story and loads of pressure. When you see the new version it at least makes sense and you wonder at the people who cut certain scenes out.
The new Alien directors cut is just a gimmick really. Some nicely interspliced missing footage, but basically the same movie.
