Here's the "I love Horses" jingle in all its full glory for those of you who don?t like watching Channel 5 or cable telly - they seem to have stopped running in it's full glory and now talk over the top of almost all of the jingle, leaving only the "They're my friends" refrain at the end...
I've found that it's remarkably adaptable. Only the other day we were watching something-or-other about columbine and invented the "I love shootings, best of all the tragedies" jingle, and then of course there's the endless comedic possibilities, such as replacing "I love horses, They're my friends" with "I love horses, they're my lunch" (sort of a nod to French cuisine).

Only ?3.99 every week, complete in sixty parts!
(warning: No guarantee that the publishers will stop after a couple of weeks, run off with all your cash and leave you with a crying child and a load of unsellable plastic crap.)
I'm no expert, but I suspect that if you waited 60 weeks and saved up your ?240 it would buy you a far superior plastic horsey, stable and book about horseys, especially if carefully spent at pound shops or used to buy material for blue-peter style constructions.
I prefer goats, they do sure have purdy eyes....
Hurr hur..
And Art you'd too purdy to a boy, I want you to come home and meet mah hog!
I think for 240 quid you could by a real live horse...
nyone know if you can save this as an audio file???
riiiiiiiight.

I love this site. You can always guarantee there's someone with the same strange obsessions as yourself.
After long years at Number 1 'Theme from Black Beauty' slips down my Horse-pop charts to number two for the first since 'My lovely Horse' cantered up to the top paddock.
Charlie Brooker mentions it in the Guardian Guide, so he's a fan too!
