If not, I won't mention it again.
my brother in law has just left a party in my house, WITH load of booze,to watch it,then again he could be forgiven, he is american, but no, i couldnt give a toss
It's got to be the most boring, trumped-up, over hyped, over ruled sport ever.
That and F1.
And, right, they even have the nerve to call it "Football" when their feet hardly ever touch the ball. And when it's time to use the foot, they have to bring on a special player just to kick the egg and then run off again!
Stick to proper football. There's a reason why it's the worlds most popular sport.
fred
I'll be watching it, got the beer & crisps ready.
La Placa Rifa,
W. R. Logan.
Nah. Few sports r worth the effort of watching. Playing yes, but I can't get into them properly unless it's an international tournament... That's always quite fun.
ah...american football...me and dad use to watch it together when i was but a lass... (redskins, just in case you were wondering. no real reason, just liked the colours)
All about the sport, myself. Not quite as good as Baseball of Hockey... but eh, whatchagonna do when it's most popular sport in the country?
Go Panthers ^_^
Drokking Patriots

Uncle umpty. i never understood american football.
though i know it got popular in the uk after channel four did the whole
what the hell is going on thing.
when they began showing it years ago.
they dont show it out here.but i have heard the adverts are worth watching.
I saw it on Five last night.
Why were they playing in the middle of a snowstorm?
Didn't watch it - I prefer watching the College football though (go Seminoles), but that doesn't get shown on UK TV...
Steve
Superbowl? Ah yes, that silly game that's like Rugby but even more ridiculous. And *snigger*, they wear all those pads and stuff. AND a helmet, WAAAAAA HA HA HA. It's like racing but without cars *snigger*.
Seriously though, they still play that?
he he he :o)
They're jessies.
What do they need all that padding for?
They wouldn't last ten minutes on a rugby pitch.

Good old BBC, showing the movie Black Sunday opposite the Superbowl.
