How cool, going to Perth to see Fear Factory, Korn and Static X on monday but be there from Sat. Heard on 3 hours of power(metal radio show)they'll be filming a film clip for their new albumn on Sunday and need fans for the clip, I'm there with spikes on....sorry just had to brag, more details when I get back. We'll also get a exclusive listen to new album...I'm so happy I could just shit.....:)

thats cool, it s good when that happens...?
I've never been too into them myself, but still - you're in a film clip! I saw them at the Melbourne Big Day Out last week (they were the mystery band) and they put on a ripping show from what I saw.
yeah I was spewing when i heard they played Melbourne and Sydney for BDO but cheering when I learnt of the tour. Been a fan since SOul of a New Machine but missed em last time they toured, just cant wait. Let you all know the name of the song for film clip when I get back next week..

Krestel, in future please mark all references to Perth as "Perth: second version," or "Perth: inferior imitation." :-)
You had me all excited there that my own very small Scottish town was actually getting a gig worth seeing.
Still, a film clip. Cool. You lucky sod.

"Thou shall have a fishee..."
Oh, hang on, it was the other one.
Sorry Fishy one, always forget you have a Perth over there too...where you live no less, our Perths the most isolated city in the world apparently and the most boring too(except when we get cool gigs like this one). 8 hour train trip from here to get there, visit me fav comic store while I'm at it, they'll be happy I spent $450 last time I was there(6 months ago)...
CU Krestel
At least it has a comic shop.
I have relatives there and they seem to quite like it.

>I have relatives there and they seem to quite

Yeah, I've got an aunt there too
Steve (who hopes he's not about to find out that he and Trout are related...)
Do you have webbed toes?
And an all-consuming need to take over the Earth?
- Trout
Doh, I thought you meant the Fear Factory film co. that made Reanimator 3 and Dagon. I got all excited...
>Do you have webbed toes?
No, but they may have been surgically altered at birth
>And an all-consuming need to take over the Earth?
Oh yes...

Really liked Demanufacture & saw them on the "Machines of Hate Tour" (don'tcha just LOVE cheesy tour titles?) but I've not really paid them any attention since then.
See you on MTV2 / Kerrang!
I thought Fear Factory had split?
they split last year, thats why I spun out when I heard they were touring. Burton still in the Band Dino out, no loss cant remember the name of replacement guitarist...
CU Krestel
I like Korn, don`t know the other two bands. Hope you had a good time, o film clip star
I'm 33. What the hell are you talkling about?!?
;)
Top week end, Awsome gig Fear factory went on first played for just over an hour, lasted in the mosh for about 4 songs befor discovering I really am quite unfit now and had to retire to the edge of the pit to recover, spitting up blood and bile. Static X were the supprise didn't think I'd like em but they were good, nice show and some cool anthem type songs(really got everyone singing with a couple of tunes), Korn headlined but for me were the most dissapointing, almost the same set they played at the Big day Out a couple of years ago(although all good songs)with a couple of new songs, even Korn fans ended up out front befor gig finished. fear Factories bassist now plays Guitar and bassest from Strapping Young Lad(another top band, missed their show in november last year) plays bass(another Burton someone). Missed out on that god darn filmclip didn't find the place in time(I hate cities), But they filmed the whole gig to release as a bonus DVD when the new albumn(Archetype) is released in April so hopefully I'll be in that(tried to hog a camera whenever they went past), played two new songs both rocked and shit loads of old school highlight being Martyre and Scumgrief. Body still sore think I did some nerve damage to me back but all worth it.
Also picked up a whole heap of GN's including Top Ten 1&2(read one its great)after hearing about it on this board, Watchmen(only ever read a bit), Y the last man(really good spewing couldn't find a book 2)Filling out my Preacher collection number6 and 8(only a couple more to get)and a few more I cant remember right now...Me -A$250 Them +A$250 but its my yearly thing so I dont mind....

Good choices, Krestel!
Glad you had fun.
