Yes, that ties in with my own theories...

(pvs strokes chin)

There used to be Trilobites about a metre long, something nemesis wouldn't be ashamed to be descended from.

Dragonflies are a bit freaky anyway, even when they're not 2ft across.

As a freelance evil scientist, my plan is to raise the oxygen content of the Earth's atmosphere, thereby allowing insects, having a passive respiratory system, to grow to enormous sizes.

Bwah-hah-hah!

Of course, the increased oxidization would be a bad thing for our health and the workings of our technology.  But that is also an evil thing.

you guys should try working around here.

the bugs that like to live in nature reserve which the club is built on the edge off. are the ones you chaps see at the zoo behind plate glass.

the worst one. the giant centipede. about 12 -18 inches long and bite that can fell an ox.

but whilst freaky dragon flys are very beautiful in there colours you have to admit.

in Queensland (not a long way from where Devons Daddy is) it`s illegal for insects to be smaller than a man`s hand
  yours horripilating,

question: was that a joke or not?

Answer: it was a joke. I suppose if it was a really good joke, you wouldn`t have had to ask. The insects really are much bigger up there (the laws are pretty strange too, but that`s another story)

I constsantly find myself wondering what it would taste like to bite into a big bug, like a juicy grub or crunchy beetle.

I suppose it's like that wierd urge you get to dive off of a big height every time you look down.

It must be all those bug-shaped sweets they have out there, thats my reasoning anyway.
