Post by: eggonlegs on 06 February, 2004, 02:13:42 AM
can any of the message board irregulars tell me > the comic shop in preston - run by nice people or cunningly disguised dark minions of his satanic majesty?

Argh! I wish people would stop it with the misleading thread titles. I got really excited at the prospect that someone had actually found a talking shop.

I HAVE found talking shop.  Walking drunk through Cardiff I passed the tanning shop next to Burger King.

'Do you wish you had a all-over golden tan?'

Huh?

'Book a five-minute session in one of our insta-tan booths and you could be bronzed TODAY.'

Eh?

WARNING! DO NOT VISIT PRESTON!!
Or Blackpool come to that. There is so little there it makes you cry. Apart from two standard 'full of crap' shopping centres, it's mainly shoddy looking buildings. Blackpool is just a toliet.
Lancaster isn't too bad, but small and not worth it really.... Hm, I'm sounding negative! Where do I like?

When I was in Scotland once, on holiday, we went to near Loch Tay to Aberfeldy/Fortingall and it was one of the nicest, most peaceful places I've been to. And the locals were so warm and accepting! A real treat...
