I'm talking about Dredd villains here. Every story has one, and then we move on to the next. Why's that then?
How about a tale where the villains fight each other? Surely the Frendz have rivals?
I'd like to see how the Judges cope with an all out war NOT aimed at them, but simply a well orchestrated attack by one set of perps on another. Surely these things go on? It would be good to see how Dredd dealt with something like this, becuase I think - for all their surveillance and so on - it would be hard to police.
Block Wars?
nah, I'm thinking more organised. Something like the Corleones against the five families. Block wars are more riots, I think.
There was the mob wars in The Mega Rackets (209-223)
And in The Taxidermist.
A frendz versus triads/ape gangs or something or other would be a great story...the Judges could take sides (in order to annihilate the weakened survivors of course)
yeah, altho gangs have been touched on, theres great opportunities to develope the whole underground scene, the thing with orlok was great, exploring the motivation of individuals on different sides of the fence, but eye theres scope for lots of tales about a whole crime heirchy/ rivalry etc.
