Or rather 'CAN YOU THINK OF AN IDEA FOR A NEW COMPETITION?', because im a bit crap at it.
The best one i had was to invent a new Villain for Dredd. Either drawn/described/both.
All ideas are welcome, so fire away.
There are no prizes for comp' ideas, but when a competition is decided upon i'll put up a first prize of the 'Complete Horned God' (paperback, slightly dog-eared), and a runner up prize of 'Sin/Dex - gun lovin' criminals' (paperback, hardly read!!).
I await strange replies....

How about rewritting a story that's already been drawn, with your own story and text (much like the Hap Hazzard competition that Tharg run in 2000ad).
Use any of the strips currently available in the Thrillviewer (follow link). Either download edit, and upload the reedited version, or just write the dialogue (in the form of a script) here- not forgeting to let us know which story it is.

How about "design a message boarder?"
We come up with all his character traits, name, icon and whatever else we feel like, then anyone can use him to post whatever they like.

Well, 'design a baddie' is currently in the lead, but 'the madness of King trout' has the potential to storm ahead and destroy all opposition.
I'll give you all to midight on saturday to decide/come up with something better. (and lets face it, something better shouldnt be TOO difficult...!)

A few people have mentioned that they'd like to see another board art comp. I've got prizes, and if there's interest, I'll run it. Two things then - who would like it? Currently my best idea is 'Boarders and 2000AD' but I'm sure people can do better.

Alternate Dredd or new Dredd villain is good. That way, it's judged less on how well it's drawn and more on the actual idea.

I think relatively regular comps will make the board a much friendlier place to anyone who comes across it.
Currently I only know that one of the prizes in my comp withh DEFINITELY be Top Ten Book One.

You should run the two competitions at seperate times, I reckon - to give proper focus to each one.
A while back we used to have a competition monthly run by different people, it'd be good to get into the swing of that again.
