Can anyone recommend good websites or books dealing with the more exotic weapons developed/deployed during WWII?
I'm really looking for something fairly sober & considered - so anyone pointing me to sites with banner headlines proclaiming NAZI SAUSER BASES BILT IN ANTARTIC - CLINTON TO BLAME! will be hounded mercilessly. Same goes for anyone recommending "this really great book by David Icke" ;-)

I'm convinced at this rate children will grow up thinking WWII was fought with flying saucers while all the guns fired round corners.
But not until the BBC show "Walking With The Wermacht". CGI Nazi's and everyfink...
My fave "walking with" CGI natural history show was called something like "Future Fantastic" and showed what animals would look like several million years in the future. A mate of mines kids saw it and as far as I know they are convinced to this day that things like the giant-squid-elephant-beast and the jellyfish-creature-the-size-of-a-whale actually exist.
