On tonight on BBC 2, the appalling sounding Sack Race, where people vie to get the sack first. One is in a comic book shop. Cue much geek-based hilarity no doubt.
It's the sort of program that makes me feel that staking reality TV people through the throat might be the only way to keep them from our screens, the fucking loathesome parasites.
Anyway, if anyone does watch it, feel free to report back, as I don't think I could stomach it.

Well, if you believe the gossip, the "prats" are actors. There's also some question about how the setup is arranged - at some point, the programme-makers have to get consent from the boss of each business to install cameras & get permission to film, so it's not quite what it seems.

Knowing various down-at-the-bottom-of-the-circuit comedian, I can confirm that the contestants are all actors/wannabe standups.
Cameras are supposedly installed by head office who don't warn the shop management/staff. Yeah, um, right.
Sack Race...cue much hilarity as men run around with pants around their ankles and groins thrust out trying to get thier sack over the line first.

it will be the comic shop guy.i can see it now. the scene wil be set in FP.
in walks customer.
he answers the customer in a pleasant and knowledgeable manner. is able to show him excatly the items he wants and cross refernce other materail he may be interested in.
offering an alternative shop which still stocks comics or a web site addy he can get back issues from.
shocked at this complete reversal of policy . FP shop manager gives him instant dismissal.
with the statement. this is the FORBIDDEN PLANET shop.we dont help these sad comic fan boys here. they are a nuisance and waste our valuable resources and shop space by actaully expecting us to stock COMICS AND RELATED MERCHANDISE and have a vague understanding of what the hell its all about.
