This is very interesting and excellent news. I know a number of American and Canadian comic readers who would love to read stuff from 2000AD but have trouble getting the prog and the meg. I know that trades are available but they seem to have the same problem with those. Hoepfully the DC name will get the books on the shelves.

Excellent news indeed... this may also help to fill the gap for those stories that Rebellion *aren't* planning to compile into books

Aren't we the wrong size for the US again now?
Dang!
Hrrrrm. Is anybody else seeing Halo Jones with a big fat DC logo all over her?
Um, we're co-printing. Anything that comes out from DC will also come out from us... plus we'll be doing our own books in the format we've established with BUTTON MAN, DURHAM RED etc.

Not going to happen, Al. This is NOT going to be a repeat of the Quality Comics debacle.

Groovy. That makes me enthusiastic. Thrill-power must be spread to the entire globe.
Pleased to hear that Jamie. At first I wondered if you'd be making similar compromises to Humanoids and redesigning the books to more suit the U.S. market. Glad this ain't the case.
Alan!
Well, we are resizing the books (to one standard size - the same that Humanoids are using), but we've checked out the new size extensively, and we're happy with it. The guys I've been working with at DC are as committed to doing good books as we are.
In the meantime, we'll also be publishing material in the UK in the current style and size, i.e. BUTTON MAN / NECRONAUTS. That'll probably focus on newish series, with one or two classics.

Just to make it clear, is this an exclusive market thing or will the UK size editions still be avalibile from previews in the US & rest of the world?
The UK books will NOT be available in the US/Canada, because of the DC deal. They may become available in other territories and languages, though; that's the next step.

Need Danish translations?
I might know of someone ;-p
