Got mine at the same time as the Captain.
We've been here before with the whole Foundry price/p&p scandel but ?25 for six figures ain't too bad if you buy them there or if they decide to offer them post free like they did with the last batch.
Trouble is i had to choose just 6 of the 8. Decided to drop Rogue Trooper (bad sculpt) and Robo Hunter (never liked the character).
Could buy them at a later date but then they're a fiver each plus 8.50 for p&p making it ?18.50 for two figures!
Best of this bunch are the Souther Trooper and the Sov Judge.
If i'm lucky, there should be pics below.
If i'm unlucky, can someone make them appear please?

Coo, very swish figures. I like the Souther soldier.

Thanks Smiley. Photos really don't do them justice.
Next batch should be mid July.
Also in the pipeline is a Grampus and Mek Quake.
Each will be as big as a blister pack and will retail for about a tenner each.

Nah, Bernard's just ripping us all off here I'm afraid.  I can live without them.

Er, that's not Dredd - its a Brit-Cit Judge.
L-R its Sov Judge, Anderson, Brit Cit and PSI Chief Omar?
Speaking of which - what colour skin-tone is Omar? Isn't he Indian or Eygptian or something?

Mesa no understand...

8 figures, but only 6 for ?25... why in Hells name not 8 for ?30 (which would still be extortionate, but at least you'd get the lot)?  They do seem to be trying their best not to sell them...

Don't be silly Watcher, this way you have to spend at least ?50 not including worlds most expensive (but cheap at twice the price) postage.

If you actually wanted to use the rogue figs for a wargame, then you'd have to pay a fiver each (not including that postage again).

I think Bernard's license to print money should definitely be revoked by Rebellion.  This is a terrible deal for 2000AD fans.  They've done so little with the license so slowly.  Let's hope those Mongoose chaps come through later in the year.

Wouldn't there be a lot more demand for 2000ad miniatures if they were 25mm scale, thus compatible with miniatures produced for roleplaying and wargames by Games Workhop and other games companies?

I think it's not the size that there'd be more demand for, but for figures that the cost and postage didn't take the piss.

The new Foundry models look really great, but to be honest I have just been sent some samples of the new Mongoose judges for a painting guide I am working on for the Gangs of Mega-City One and they look excellent, but I am just happy that more 2000AD figures are coming out these days.

My review of the last lot of Foundry figures will be up on Dredd Times at the end of the week and if the guys at Mongoose allow me to post some sneak peaks of their new figures, then who knows ;0)

I think they should give the licence to make 2000AD models to Games Workshop, they are, after all much larger, and be therefore be able to push it more.

that should be back to Games Workshop, I know they didn't push their Dredd game, but it still sold loads, anyway it's different nowadays, they shure have pushed their lord of the rings games.
