Stalled since 9/11 but the site gives you an idea of what they're thinking design-wise.
Really don't know about the Rob Bottin Thing-type versions at the bottom.
Link: ULLA!
THe chances of this film being made are a million to one he said!
I'd rather this lot got their one done than Spielberg. At least Pendragon are setting the film in England.
I can't be the only one who was hoping the LOEG movie would end with a voice screaming ULLLL-LLLLAAAAAAA!! and the amazing da-da-DAAAA!! theme...
And anyway - ULLLL-LLLLAAAAA!!! is the greatest word in the english language, streets ahead of AAAAEEEEEIIIII!!! or NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
I am not too sure where I read it but Spielburg and Cruise are penciled in for a War of the Worlds movie to be released in late 2006.

Haha. That used to be my answerphone message - coupled with electric guitar heat-rays.

UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUULAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA...........uuuuuuulaaaaa.......uulaa..a..a.....a..
Cruise is supposed to be producing, and Spielberg has apparently already indicated his intentions to move the film from Woking to rural American, thereby screwing up the entire "escape" theme that runs through the novel. My guess is that Spielberg's bastardisation of the original will come out, but the other film won't. I hope I'm wrong because I'd dearly love to see a faithful reproduction of that book on screen (and set in England!)
That's the bloody problem with the British film industry - We've got tonnes of British books that would translate well into film, but instead of the likes of working title snapping up the rights, they just let america do while the British movie churns out another ganster- It's tough up north/to be an Asian/etc, or Richard Curtis movie!
Seems like the whole Spielberg/Cruise thing hasn't got too much substance - its just something trotted out by the press from time to time.
That company that reckon they'll make one have only got to the pre-production art stage along with filming forest fires in Oregon (?)
