Let's get some things straight here folks. I may have been abrupt and to the point in my emails, but i have also been polite. I am fed up and upset about a service that has consistently let me down and messed me about. I am paying for this service. So why should i continue to pay for and use it? I am not just talking about one or two issues being late or the wrong issue being sent, but many. Far too many for far too long. And as time has gone on, it has got worse. The post office can't be to blame because all my other mail arrives on time. I buy and sell alot of stuff on ebay and amazon, and send and receive alot of correspondence from friends and family around the UK and europe. I also subscribe to 4 art publications and they arrive on time.
VampiraJen, i assure you that i am a chilled out person, and i am taking it like a man, which is why I have stood up and said enough is enough. I am not giving her grief, merely letting her know the facts. I have also acknowledged her work and thanked her for it.
mBanners: I'm not after credit, so please don't insinuate. And it's not a matter of "occasionally" but "too often". The negative is out weighing the positive.
May I remind you that the idea of this subscription service is take out the hassle of going to a newsagent on a Wednesday, by sending the issue in the post directly to the home of the reader so that it arrives beforehand. This has not been the case. There has been more hassle involved with the issue arriving late, the wrong issue arriving, having to get in touch with the subscription department, waiting for a reply and waiting for a replacement copy. It would be easy to go to the newsagent. Thereby, the subscription service has failed itself and it's customer.
With hindsight, maybe I should of cancelled my subscription ages ago, but i thought i would give it the benefit of the doubt and see if it would get better. But over the course of 3 or 4 months it hasn't. It's got worse.
So from here on, i think i'll be buying the graphic novels and the the odd weekly or monthly if the artwork and stories are up to scratch.
And so to sum up:
"The milk has been spilt, but i'm not crying. It's been mopped up and the milkman has been sacked. I'm off down to the cornershop"
