I remember buying that Prog aged 11 ...on holiday in wales.

ermm "Operation Dreadnought" or something.....Theres some sorta Manta Ray and he ends up floating in a bubble.  ( I thought Ron Smith's art suited Rogue Trooper during that time, much better than simon colbys chunky Cartoon style )

so, "To the Ends of Nu Earth"  Which Volume is that story in ??  Tales from Nu Earth Vol 2 or 3 ??

It wouldve been about 1989 ( i was 8 ) my dad just bought me 2000ad for a change.

There was only one other Kid back in my neighbourhood who Read 2000ad...To this day i have never met anyone else who read it.

2000ad monthly number 46 - Various Dredd stories

then monthly 50 - strontium dog - slavers of drule

i bought the weeklys randomly at first ..but made the "Monthly" my top priority.

Each months better n better ...Strontium dog - outlaw , Sam Slade - verdos , Dredd Angel.

ermmmy first actual run on 2000ad weekly started from "prog 749" or something..... it had "Below Zero", "Indigo Prime Killing time" etc. I quite liked Both of them.

But ever since i've been reading 2000ad I have ALWAYS...ALWAYS prefered the Past Thrills.

I have recieved and Read "Thirteen"

I enjoyed it.....good little story and great artwork ..kinda reminds me of cliff robinson's art but a little more sketchier.

Im still waiting for "fiends of the eastern front" ...they are taking the piss now with that

it wouldve been exciting to know this sequel was coming out 20 or 10 years ago.

But in this day of CGI Overkill ..Tron 2 is just another movie.

Its not Wrong to want simple "run away from werewolves" romps.

theres too much mystical bollox in everything today.
