This is not the video I intended but I ended up knocking the gun off the table today, no cosmetic damage but a couple of the sounds have conked out.
I apologise for the poor sound quality, again didn't want to use this but it's the only one with everything working!
On the chip it has a blue flashing light, illuminated 2 and a sound activated red light.There are small lights in the sensors either side as well.When it is switched on it makes the sound of a camera flash/night vision switching on (not in this vid')  When the trigger is pulled you get the machine gun sound and on release the sound of an empty case landing on the ground. The site at the end of the barrel has a small laser in it. The voice of Gunnar is taken from the PS2 game.
Unfortunately there is a lot of white noise on all the recordings, but that was the best I could get with the recordable key ring chips I used.

Here's the main picture I used to scale it from using an SA80 pistol grip as the size reference.

I was smiling when I wrote it but couldn't think of any other way to say it!

Again really appreciate all your comments, so glad I joined&posted, was a bit last minute, just thought maybe one or two might be interested but never expected the reaction it's got.
I'll be honest I'd love to make them to order but I just couldn't do them cheap enough, that said it is very therapeutic and you do find yourself getting right into it and losing track of time....I need to break my toe again.
I am contemplating Rogues helmet, back pack and pistol, again the Colin Wilson versions.

Will try and do a video tomorrow as the light isn't any good at the moment.

Who are they? I'm new to this  Have got a friend with a computer cutter for ali' parts, did wonder if it could scan and cut the rifle, would look great polished up and on a plaque

Took weeks to find something right size and shape to use as the eyes/sensors on either side, ended up using 'banister' ends from B&Q, bit pricey at 9.99 each but they were the closest I could get and actually look a better shape than the original - not that Colin Wilson ever got anything wrong! -  

Thanks to everyone, really chuffed with your reaction, great to have my work appreciated. Didn't know they had 2000AD conventions?
I'd love to make more, only problem is cost and time, but it's been a total learning curve so the next would be quicker and easier!
