Hi folks, a friend who's been widowed has a massive collection of 2000ADs, StarLords (from no.1), annuals going back to 1980, Eagle annuals, Best Of 2000AD, Judge Dredd Megazines, and Summer Specials. She's nit really interested in much money, just wants to clear her loft. £200 the lot, but you have to collect.

Mate in the States sent me this link-- Poser 8 has come out but if you don't mind being one digit behind, content paradise are offering Poser 7 for $69.99 (as opposed to $250), until December 25th, and you can download it rather than wait for a parcel to batter its way through customs... it's a hefty 1.6Gb, it took 4 hours on my connection but that's still faster than the US Mail...  :-)

The Welsh Animation Group has Ian and Matt as their speakers this month, Monday night upstairs at Dempseys opposite Cardiff Castle from 7.30 ish. You can join just for the night, and listen to em natter about comics and stuff. Dempseys does a fine pint of Guinness...

Sandman looks perfect, but there's a couple of ...absences... from the trailer, which makes me wonder if we won't get another with certain other characters who we 're told are supposed to be in there....

Modest beyond measure, Edginton and D'Isreali havebn't been pimping their War of the Worlds adapation running at Dark Horse Online. As the less retiring of that little group, I figured a bit of a shout was in order-

2000AD?Meg fans should be interested as it's effectively a prequel to Scarlet Traces (well, of course)

It's also a fabulous peice of loveliness.
