Aaaaarrrgg! Why? Do you doubt they exist? Are you so unwilling to accept that other people know more than you that you have to get evidence of everything?

Let's save you the effort.  Pick one.

I'm happy to say that Hitler was a bad 'un, even though I've never read his book.  I'm also happy to believe that the Earth is a globe, despite never having actually checked for myself.

Are twitter users across the UK getting targeted ads informing them that Westminster is paying for covid testing, or is this particularly nasty politicisation of the virus limited to Scotland?  Is this 2021's "eat your cereal"?

Been listening to Brink.  I'm disappointed to say that I don't think this works.

The footsteps really annoy me.  Because the dialogue is lifted straight from a visual medium, its signalled that characters are on the move by having the sound of foot steps...so two characters are chatting in a busy environment and "clunk clunk clunk" here comes someone else.

Brink is a story I love, but it just doesn't fit the format.  Bridge shooting a guy in an early episode is a massive deal in the comic...here, its a messy sound effect and you don't know it happened until several minutes into the next scene.

It loses its power. So much of Brink is about the power of words and ideas, about how words can do real harm, so we have to be protected from curses, and certain syllables can make a person sick.  On the page, where letters can sit alongside runes that symbolise alien concepts, that makes sense.  Put on accents repeating "Phase Corozon"  and it stops being an interesting idea.

For years I've wanted a RunningMan remake with Arnold as the media-baiting ,Trump-esque gameshow host, happily murdering people for ratings.  "Who loves you, and who do you love!"

As far as I'm aware, no one here has suggested they are. 

Representatives of some country's government did well documented drug experiments on unwitting subjects = a conspiracy.

A global pandemic was created by a secret cabal in order to maintain control of international banking = something that someone made up.

I saw a fascinating interaction on twitter earlier today.  Someone had posted a joke about a Fox "news" man pretending that Qanoners have never actually existed outside the mind of those crazy liberals, as evidenced by Qanon not being a website.

This was followed up by a guy insisting this was true, and that no-one actually believes in Q.  When it was pointed out that only a few weeks before he had himself been tweeting in support of Qconspiracy theories, he claimed to be a victim of a liberal conspiracy.

When the conspiracy that made you feel special turns out to be baseless, just change the rules and pretend you always believed in something else.

As a counterpoint I'd like to encourage everyone to get involved in how the country is run and what laws are in place by actually voting.  Not voting changes nothing and never has.

Choice is lovely, but I for one would also quite like an actual welfare system in place so that fewer kids go to bed hungry, and fewer families have to rely on charity to survive.  Y'know, silly things like a properly funded health service and real schools paid for by actual taxation.

Can someone explain to me what's hapening with the mercenaries in Skip Tracer? I don't mean the complete lack of logic, but just the numbers...

There have been three mercs in every scene until now - Generic Human, Bad Guy Spiderface, and Ugly McNulty.  Last episode, Nolan shot Ugly McNulty and let the others escape, only to immediately decide to set another trap...

We then see Generic Human, Bad Guy Spiderface, and Ugly McNulty being led into the trap... but Ugly McNulty is already there, apparently being mind-controlled by Nolan in a strangely posed scene which is immediately rendered pointless.

Am I miscounting characters?  I've i'm wrong about this, who knows what else I could be wrong about?  Maybe Nolan is actually an interesting guy?

What are the "SJW values" that artists have to pander to, beyond not being hateful to minority groups and women?

Even being hateful, although out of fashion, is so welcomed by a vocal minority of consumers that there's definite money to be made in the field.
Swathes of bigots make a fortune by telling their audiences "I'm not allowed to say this...the Woke will come after me.".

I can understand why people might want to treat others with basic decency, but can't they do it in the privacy of their own home rather than shoving basic decency down our throats at every opportunity? Can't turn on the TV nowadays without getting a face full of mutual respect and not calling for genocide. I blame the BBC.

Said arsehole has managed to get himself represented by a rather big PR firm with contacts in government and major media outlets, resulting in a few too many articles.  The money is coming from somewhere.
