One thing I dont remember being tied up...when Booth learns Fargo is still alive, Solomon and Goodman discuss how he could know and Solomon says something about an informant and his suspicions. Do we know who the informant was?

First page - nope, no idea

Second page - Superman is releasing his sun eater...I only spotted this because I looked back at issue two where you get a brief look at it when he shows it off to Lois at the Fortress of Solitude

I really like All Star Superman, its one monthly (bi-monthly? tri-monthly?) i watch out for. Nothing particularly profound to it all...it just reminds me of enjoying comics as a kid.

I'm in complete agreement with Adventurer about All Star Batman - utter shite.

"and from what people are saying he seems to have done pretty much the same with Sunshine. brilliant start. really really good till the last 1/3 then plot turnd in to some thing he read on the back of a crisp packet"

(SPOILER WARNING!)

Saw this last night and I'd have to along with that. First 2/3rds really worth seeing though - far more horrific than the more conventional horror-style last third. Fortunately there are a few signposts before it all gets dumb...(why didn't the crew onboard the icarus2 see the survivor on the cameras they were watching?? Why didn't the computer report the unidentified person?? Or the sabotage? Why was it Sam Neil from event horizon?)

They were pretty special wern't they?

Favorite bits:  Gramps tells Louis that he is too dumb to have the discussion with him...and the bit when the kid got hit with the juice. "Who would hit a kid?" God would!

Off Topic / Re: is time travel possible ?........
17 February, 2007, 10:02:32 AM

I find particularly intruiging the idea that as living beings we "sense" the passage of time - without any external influence you can (roughly) count seconds a they pass. Also that we (humans) 'sense' time passing on a particular 'scale'. Why? What binds biology with time like this?

In the spirit of the thread...

I just picked up the Exorcist anthology, including the canned paul schrader original prequel, for £12 in Asda!

I seem to be one of the few who rate part 3...
