"Greysuit- Meh. They seem to have a bit of trouble moving the story along, reiiterating in comic form what's already been mentioned in the previous issue. Do one or the other I reckon (although to be fair this makes it easier with new purchasers to catch up with the story)."

I have to say (and I've always been a Mills fan) the dialogue between these robber guys is a totally lazy bit of exposition. Firstly, until now we've been led to believe they are a highly secret organisation, suddenly some random safe cracker knows all about them, if he knows, how come the Iranians were so in the dark? Maybe he has his own secret intelligence service?! Secondly, If I were trying to rob a safe deposit, I might struggle to have an in depth dialogue about the current political climate and conspiracies with my colleagues, I might wait 'til later. Or maybe that's just me. That bit of dialogue is the low point in an otherwise great prog. Lazy, just damn lazy.

Off Topic / Re: Breast Feeding...

We've got a five week old baby who is breast fed in public. Our six year old was too. Nobody has ever complained or moaned at us.I think that those who do object are the ones in the minority after all it's a perfectly natural thing to do. We do not consider ourselves to be right or high and mighty, we're just looking after our kids in the best way possible. If you have a problem with it, don't look.

Not at all, I read all of the posts regularly, just don't get round to posting that often, frequently because by the time I get round to posting someone has already said something along the lines that I'm thinking or just because I can't be arsed ( can I say arse here?). Sometimes I only get on the forum to read once a week.

After a long time away I'm still playing catch up.

I started reading again in December after picking up a copy of Judge Dredd Complete Case Files 1. I'm already now a subscriber to 2000ad, The Meg and the Extreme Edition. I lost interest in the 90's when things were going pear shaped but I have to say I'm totally hooked again. Especially after reading all of the Nikolai Dante books and getting all of his back story.

I remember these. Simon Garth is an excellent series. In the other mag wasn't there a Frankenstein story? I hope these turn up in the second part of the history of horror comics in the meg. The last part left me feeling very nostalgic. I read many of those mags or reprints as a kid.

Prog / Re: Prog 1536 - His City. His Law....

I seem to be in a minority. I understand that variety is important and that nurturing new talent is vital. This just seems out of place in the prog.

I did have to read it twice, probably not because I didn't understand it but because first time I skimmed it. On second reading (I went back because I thought I must have missed something)I followed it fine but found that I didn't really care.

This sort of stuff would seem more at home in the meg which appears to be more of a 'comics' magazine rather than just a Dreddworld thing.

I just didn't like this much in 2000ad.

Hopefully it's a one off. I don't buy 2000ad for this. Absloutely damned right it's like a small press from the Meg.

It seems that for some reason there must have been a delay getting this weeks prog out. Most reliable suppliers in Birmingham didn't have it until Friday. I managed to get one from Nostalgia and Comics though.

Film & TV / Re: Dungeons and Dragons

Got to agree, I've just been reading the collections of the old Marvel Conans. superb stories about an antihero who is a thief, a bully and not really a "goodie" at all. Extremely well constructed and put together graphic story telling. However mention Conan to most people and you get an "Oh no... Arnie". Can't help thinking that Conan has suffered from Hollywood just like Dredd.
