Howard Chaykin's Black Kiss -a hardboiled, erotic tour-de-force! Originally published in 1988, Black Kiss became one of the most controversial North American comics of the late 1980s, with living legend Howard Chaykin amping up the sex and violence to levels never seen before - and still shocking and titillating today!

I'm selling the full 12 issue run, issue 2 andd 3 still have the totally black frontispieces that HM Customs & Excise insisted on before the books were allowed to be imported. All issues are in excellent condition.  I'm asking £19.99 plus £2.75 p&p for First Class UK.  I will ship internationally, please ask for prices.

I've probably said this before, but I always thought part of the point of Crisis was creater ownership of strips. Although remembering the whole Ennis Troubled Souls rights deal should've reminded me. But, hang on. How did that work if Helter Skelter was written during the Rebellion era?

That's a bit daft. If it is (and I have no reason to doubt you), it's a prologue to a second series that never materialised.

It does kind of work but changes the dynamic of the whole story - the whole thing becomes a flashback effectively.  The problem is that, presented as a prologue, there are some massive spoilers in it which, of course, destroy any tension in certain parts of the story - such as who lives or dies.  A fairly major failure on fleetway's part I'd say although I can kind of see the logic behind it...

I'd so desperately love to know what happened to Blackhawk post-black hole.  It's set up perfectly for a new beginning without any need for new readers to know what went before...

Wasn't it about 30 episodes in total?  That's mean 4 floppies(ish) to complete.  Now, while I wouldn't mind it seems unlikely...  Maybe a 2 floppie run to do the first arc?

It's two series - Purgatory was a spin-off series set in the Titan penal colony about ex-judge inmates and Inferno was the main Dredd epic that spun out of it.

My guess is that Inferno will appear in the Case Files, and Purgatory will run in a Meg floppy to coincide with that book's release.

Of course, damn my failing memory!  That's what I meant!

Are we sure that Inferno will appear in the CF - for some reason I'd got it into my head that it would appear in a floppy as a prologue book (in the same way thay ran Deadlock as a post script to the Nemesis books)

We're in for a pretty grim run on the case files now aren't we?! Four or five books of Ennis , Millar, Morrison and 'Sonny' Steelgrove...before Wagner's return.

News / Re: Big Finish sale

Hi

I'd never bothered with these, fully expecting them to be cheesy nonsense, but thought I'd give them a go for this price and I have to say they are amazing.  Big Finish service was incredible (bought on Friday night and through my letter box on Tueday).  I've only managed to listen to one so far but these are great and recommended to anyone who likes a good audioplay.

Thank you Andy and thank you Big Finish...
