Apparently, a lot of the figure collectors dont like people to find out how to remove them from the cards undamaged as it allows scammers to swap out rare figures for copies etc.....

Of course, being 2000 AD Im sure all of you on here are trustworthy ;-)

As for a full costume, thats a tricky one, only as Johnny is a unique character.

Its a different angle than a set of characters, like with a batch of Judges, where its a case of more the merrier !

Actually -

Call it Judge Anderson , Psi Division instead.......

Opening episode could bring us up to her sitting in the interview room/ her first scene in DREDD.

As she's past being a rookie by the end of the film, her story ark would then continue after the events in DREDD, and would easily allow coverage all of the Dredd World/ Mega City scenarios (including The Dark Judges....)

Urban/ Dredd could make random guest appearances to add spice and link some canon to the story,and a strong female lead like Anderson would be welcome.

My Zbox arrived! The Dredd badge alone is worth more than the £19.99 price (the only reason I bought it!), so everything else is just gravy:



So, in addition to the badge (in a nice bag with a groovy little plastic stand for it), it had:

Mini-megaphone (save for next demo I go on)
Lego police-bike (cool, I'll be building that)
Robocop keyring (don't use keyrings, but okay)
Candy whistle (cheap confectionery)
Dredd underbelly one-shot comic ;nuff said
Zbox magazine (surprisingly good fun - novelty lists of Top 10 'bad cops'; article about Dredd aging in real time, article on Planet Replicas (including pics of some judges we all know and love)

The box was nice in itself - Dirty Harry graphics and a Hot Fuzz quote.

So all in all, definitely worth it 'cos I was considering paying more than that for the badge, but I wouldn't subscribe because if I wasn't into Dredd, the rest is a bit tat-tastic

A quick check on Twitter and its looking like the Dredd badge has gone down a storm, so its looking like a big win for Zavvi, 2000AD an PR ;-)

A big fan of Arthur Ranson so I'd love to know what the processes involved in creating a page are ? how long a typical page takes, and if he's ever been tempted to change his style to make it faster/ easier to produce (it must be time consuming to shade etc ?)
