So Issue 82 will be Judge Anderson: The Trip.

There will be some nice Dave Taylor artwork in there!

And something occurred to me about those TADS that hadn't before - when warped to the alternate Earth, they crack the planet wide open - so if they HAD landed on East Meg 1, then Justice Dept would have destroyed the whole planet - not a great outcome and hardly 'justice'

Maybe Justice Department calculated that only one or two TADs would get past the East Meg defences, or that any surviving TADs would detect a couple of TAD detonations and deactivate. Still, one Hell of a gamble!

There's a panel showing a hospitalised Griffin being brought up to speed by Dredd  "You've launched the TADS then... You did right... better the Sov's perish with us, than rule us..."

Yes, the classic line-up is now all gone. As an punker, this period of Motorhead, was always appreciated.

RIP.

A lovely pair of pages, Steve. Flint and Goddard: Two droids I'm very partial to.

And I totally missed the Goddard story in the New Scientist, as well. Seeing your page over on CAF, and it's title, had me googling away.

And arriving at my door today is a commission piece (larger than A3) from the insanely talented Mr Colin MacNeil. The level of work he has put into this is just staggering. I am humbled to receive it, tbh.

As with my other DoC commissions, I asked if there was a part he had enjoyed drawing from his time on the tale. After thinking about it, Colin said "Well, there's this one panel I drew of Fear, that I really like" and "as an experiment, I'd like to render it a certain way. I think it'll work".

The droids are just the best, aren't they. (I know Colin sometimes pops by the forum, so I'd just like to say thank you once again.)

Day of Chaos: Judge Fear.

Yes, very sad news indeed. Jim was an absolutely brilliant artist, and I loved all his work. A true 2000ad legend.

RIP, Mr Baikie

I've heard it said that Mick McMahon will be there?
If so, that's a massive incentive for me to make the journey down.

Helium to be drawn by Mr Trevellion, I believe, upon it's return. Which wont be too long, I hope.

I like the classic trilogy, and thats about it.

Now that Disney has bought a good chunk of Fox, I wonder if we are a step closer to seeing a decent release for ANH?

From Prog 1947; Enceladus: Old Life - Part 8.

Brought a right old lump to my throat when I read this page when it was first published.

Simply brilliant, and a very nice little surprise, to see Mick McMahon return to do a Cursed Earth based Dredd tale.

(Not had chance to read the rest yet...)

Colour/color - Who gives a fuck...

Prime thrill-power goodness from Dredd and Johnny's Daddy. I hope Carlos had a ball doing these commissions, certainly we fans have every reason to be eternally grateful that he did undertake this work.

And that's such a sweet video. "I love her"  :)
I think i'd be happy to watch a ten hour video of Carlos leafing through his work and muttering gems like that.
