Bloody Thatcher.

There was a TV show in the early 2000s (CGI, so probably holds up as well as anything CGI around then holds up) and a film announcement a few years back that just kind of disappeared. Though it's theoretically a big IP I'm honestly not sure it's the world really cares that much about stiff upper lip British officers defending the space commonwealth anymore, and if you move too far from that it stops being Dare.

Very much enjoying the general cover theme of "things that would get you discussed in Parliament in 1976".

2000ad has the name and Tharg and Dredd but the early progs are awfully crufty until the Starlord merger, which replaced a lot of the dead weight with Dredd quality thrills making it the comic we know today.

It is totally Alan Moore Online Video Wizard School and it is glorious.

That was The Americans by Al Ewing, in Meg 283.

At the end of the day I'd have to go with what Al said in this interview: Either continuity makes the story better, or makes the story worse. And if it makes the story worse, even by a fraction of a degree, you really don't need to bring it up.

Then again I am still a massive nerd and will totally base an entire story around something mentioned in Prog 3 and not really brought up again.
