Film & TV / Re: Last movie watched...

Just watched Train to Busan.

Hands down the best zombie movie I've seen in a long time. Avoids those lazy jump scares & tired tropes and has genuine adrenaline-fueled zombie action. 10/10 brains.

Will watch Peninsula next weekend after a cool down.

In the meantime, I'm off to play Zombie Army 4 - for unrelated reasons.

Hi Doc,
A couple of thoughts:
1. Try uninstalling NWN by itself through the windows 'add or remove programs' screen -
Type in 'program' in the search bar and then 'add or remove programs' should come up as an option, click on that and then find NWN in the menu and uninstall it.
2. Go to the steam install directory and manually delete the Neverwinter Nights folder (if it is still there) - this is the directory (if you installed to the C: drive)
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\
If you installed it to another drive e.g. D: use this - D:\Steam\steamapps\common  (change the D for whatever drive you did install it to)
3. Reinstall NWN via steam
4. If it is still not working, uninstall Nexus Mod Manager

Give that a go and let me know. If none of that works, let me know the windows version and what you are seeing when you try to run NWN & I'll see if I can work it out.

Sorry I can't pop over, I am literally on the other side of the world!

Cheers!

I'm sure someone would have posted this already, but I can't find it anywhere on the forum.

So (unless I've completely missed a post in an obvious place), I give you the proof of concept shots from a JD series pitch by Studio AiXX - how far king gorgeous are these?

As a kiwi, I thought my fellow NZ'ers were smart enough people. Events of the past month have proven me wrong on a daily basis.
I'm working for an FMCG company in NZ (we make bread, fresh & UHT milk, flour, butter, spreads etc.) so for the past three weeks my team have been working all hours trying to keep the country in stock as more and more people have been panic buying*

All of this stuff is locally made and the only thing preventing it being on the supermarket shelves is the legion of apocalyptic muppets (Apocamuppets?) buying like crazy.

And of course toilet paper has been flying off the shelves.

The reason why everyone has been hoarding toilet paper became abundantly clear when our PM announced a lockdown starting tomorrow and the country collective shat it pants.

Panic buying on a national scale, but not in a way that makes sense - most supermarkets were swamped and overwhelmed. The one that I walk past on the way home from work was deserted as was the superette near home.

People are, collectively, fucking morons.

* We have since renamed panic buying as Sudden Temporary UnPlanned Increased Demand

Flew down with my son to visit my mum and dad - he (dad) just received a civic award for service to the community. Was great to see the presentation - a lot more pomp etc to it than what I was expecting.

And on the same day I missed the funeral of a former boss (who I'd known for 20 years), died at 54 of mental illness.

Almost finished The Road by Cormac McCarthy.

Bleak, disturbing and very readable.

Let's take a moment to remember that though Carlos is gone, the impact that he made on all of us is not and that the work that he started continues.

As a kiwi, there are times when I am very glad to be about as far away from Europe as possible.

What I would like to see is someone coming up with definitive proof as to what Putin has over Trump, (business deals and dodgy goings on with prostitutes aside). With the bashing of Nato and cozying up to Russia, Putin has the perfect agent friend in Trump.

Well, if anyone was on the fence about IDW Dredd and fancied dipping a toe, grab the current Humble Bundle. For $15, you get pretty much everything, from what I can tell, along with a smattering of Rebellion content. For $1, you still get the superb Mars Attacks vs Dredd, year One, Urban Warfare, Cry of the Werewolf, and Origins, along with two volumes of the Swierczynski-penned Dredd, one volume of Mega-City Zero, and the Funko one-shot.

(Notable also that the sole Case Files in the mix is vol. 5. Very smart choice.)

Thanks for the heads up, jumped on this one...

Amazon really are useless. I ordered four Kindles and they sent me a Two Ronnies dvd.

Bloody hell, took me a minute, but damn that is funny!
