That's the trouble with weekly installments, you forget stuff like that. :D

Watching the BluRay with subtitles on to catch the odd line I'm not totally clear on, and it seems as though every other subtitle is 'Ominous instrumental music'. It's so common it's almost hilarious. :D

Dredd - Love it all except for a couple of strangely shaped Judges helmets. Look almost Stallone-like with the slimline cheek peices.

Ampney - Good fun.

Red Seas - Have absolutely no idea what's going on here, waiting for it to finish.

Lockheed Martin-sponsored Javelin Advert, sorry I mean Savage - An improvement on previous weeks with the lack of daft dialogue. Loved the art, very nice. Although it should be noted that a Javelin not only does not have a large back blast, its soft launch means it can be fired from within buildings quite safely = research fail. /nerd.

And finally Strontium Dog - after a weak few opening episodes this is starting to get rather good, although I was surprised by the appearance of the S/D agents all dropping in at the end, maybe I missed something earlier. Hope it isn't used as a deus-ex-machina to save the day.

So long as we don't see his helmet I don't mind.

I hadn't thought of that. It looks like they arrived the next day after Dredd had made a second request. It's one thing to respond to crime slowly but you'd think they'd respond to a judge a little quicker.

PLOT HOLE!

Maybe the meat wagon/H wagon turned up but the block was locked down so they went to somewhere else they were needed?

What I want to know is what Dredd and Anderson were going to do with Kay if they made it out of Peach Trees, strap him across the back of a Lawmaster, cowboy stylee?  :D

'Negatory. Robbing me of a kill is an offense punishable by death. Let's go find the guys who killed these guys I would have killed and kill them.'

Excellent. :D

AFAIK Dredd wasn't officially reprimanded for 'causing' Chaos Day, but even if he is completely innocent he has been judged in the court of public opinion and found guilty. It doesn't matter how hard you tell yourself you weren't responsible, even a man like Dredd will be worn down by all the ignorant citizens blaming him for it.

The general public love people to blame, and Dredd is a well known authority figure with a pretty horrific past with the Sov's. Guilty or not, they've laid it at his door.

Fantastic cover. I also really enjoyed Dredd, didn't mind the art at all, it's refreshing to see different peoples takes on Dredd, the same thing every week would quickly get stale.

Loved the art on Dredd, but have I got this straight - Dredd grabs hold of the dragon's leg, then cuts it off mid-flight, and seems surprised that he's about to drop to his death? That seems to be a plan of Wile E Coyote level stupidity.

I got the impression that the whole strip was deliberately tongue-in-cheek, what with the sign gag at the start and all that. Dredd inadvertantly nearly killing himself when cutting the leg (maybe it just came off alot easier than he expected?) made me guffaw so loudly the other half came into the room to see what was going on.  :D

Dredd was ace, three genuine laugh out loud moments (loved the sign) and great art. Muchos enjoyment!

Strontium Dog is finally beginning to push my buttons, but as for rest I won't be sad to see them go. The dialogue in Savage in particular is very funny (but not in a good way).
