My surname, Woollatt, is derived from 'Wulfgeat' (according to Google anyway).
After the 1066 conquest, the Wulfgeats are listed as 'tenants-in-chief' of lands held by the crown.

So... I might not be in line for the throne, but I'll happily look after a castle or two for whichever one of you lot gets it!  ;)

I hope I'm not alone in thinking this new fangled site thingy a bit... ugly.
No lovely artwork adorning the sides, no branding at all really.

Meh.

Over on FB, Gordon's delight at having got Melvyn Hayes to say "wank mitten" was detectable from orbit.

The sheer fact that it actually is Melvyn Hayes playing the part fills me with joy!
A genuinely inspired bit of casting, in an unexpected and brilliantly realised bit of animation.

I loved this to bits, and truly hope it gets the full-on series it deserves.

Well that looks bloody fantastic!
Is it too much to hope that this will be more than a proof of concept?

I'll never tire of looking at his work, every single page and panel he ever did is wonderful.

RIP Kevin. I'll miss you.

RIP Pat Mills' career, credibility, and rapidly-dwindling fanbase.

It's the credibility bit that disappoints me the most.

After everything he's said for creator's rights, to then jump on this bandwagon is just baffling.
But then, I've read some post about how he's treated his artists recently, and they're pretty bloody shocking too.

I hate to say it, but I think it's for the best that Pat has left the prog.

Aside from Wagner and Grant, this has to be the greatest pairing of droids in the Prog's history.
Everything they do is phenomenal!

Yeah, Finn is an odd one. The actual idea behind it (magicky (with a k) eco-warrior / taxi driver takes on a modern version of the fomorians) is sound in my opinion, but the execution leaves a lot to be desired.

I still enjoyed it though, for what it's worth. It's faaaar from Pat's best, but it's certainly not his worst either.
Give it a spin, there's always Ebay if it's not for you!

I don't think David Warner ever put in a bad performance, regardless of the quality of the production.

My personal favourite is the first film I saw him in, 'My Best Friend is a Vampire' (or 'I Was a Teenage Vampire' in the states).
He was the best bad guy ever, and will be truly missed.

Thanks for everything, Alan. Good luck to you on your next journey.
I like to think that he's enjoying a reunion with Carlos Ezquerra and Norm Breyfogle somewhere in the Great Beyond.

I certainly hope so. Rest in peace Alan x

So, I can have your house, then?

I don't own a house.
Also, houses don't just happen naturally.

A man builds a house, he deserves to be paid. That's fine.
I'm talking about the land that's under it.

I'm... actually with the Shark on this one.

Ownership of land is something that someone made up once simply so they could exploit it, and the people who live on it.
I appreciate that governments and councils definitely should have power over what happens on said land, but the idea of private ownership of land is kinda ludicrous. The first person to 'own' that land just said that they did, and hoped that no-one bigger and nastier turned up.

Lovely to see Andy Clarke gracing the prog again, that's beautiful work!

I'm a few months behind on the prog, so apologies if this is part of the story, but... Is that an Austin Allegro?
