I'm loving this show and the latest episode was superb! Loved the whole femme fatale idea, it struck the right balances with comedic effect.

I gave up the soft fizzy drinks, after I received the suspended sentence from the four dark judges 3 yeas back. :D (thats a statement of JOY and acknowledgement)
you do it slowly it helps. and the weight also goes down.

Oh it does! when I was pregnant I had gestational diabetes so cut loads of refined crap out, after I had him I was slimmest I'd been in years!!!

Sadly I fell back into old habits ... but I know I can do it if I'm motivated.

Creative Common / Any customisers or Sculpters??

I started customising little plastic men about a year and half ago, I've now got into casting and sculpting which I really enjoy but it's still a little trail and error.

I'm currently working on a bust of the Dick Tracy villain The Blank which I started in about Aug last year but just haven't managed to get around to finishing it. So that's a priority!

Here's a few pix of my work: Prince Tuftan to go alongside the DCUC Kamandi, a few Camelot 3000 guys, and a Joker bust alongside my fizzog for size comparison!!  :D

Last night I watched the Great Muppet Caper with my son to try and keep him awake till midnight so we could see the fireworks bringing in the New Year.

I was suprised at how many metta refs there were in it.

I haven't been to the cinema for quite a while, the last film I saw on the big screen was probably Captain America.

I think this film looks amazing and I can't wait for it's release, but I can see it only being succesful within the geek circles... but can't really explain why?

His Anderson stuff was amazing!

Get your name down early for a sketch - they're well worth it!

I'm only going for one day, but I'm hoping to get myself an Anderson sketch.

critter
good luck!
Barry takes ages to do sketches, which are not actually sketches but full paintings, so he's always worth it. But you need to get your name down first- there's usually something on his website.

Absolutley, I was in line from 10.30 till closing for Barry at the Thought Bubble in Leeds. He has done them over Christmas for me a Barry Allen Flash and a Dick Grayson Robin full body watercolours. He also does 5 min head shots which are also watercolour which you would get a little quicker. They always worth it and he is one of the very few artists which still does art for a donation rather than set fee.

Hello, don't get frightened off, it's good here.

Do you have a stash of pet carriers which people don't come back for when you kill their sick pets for them?
My vets does.

Ha!... we often donate them to a local animal sanctuary!!

Welcome.

There are restrictions on new arrivals, I'm afraid. An unfortunate but necessary technique for filtering out the stealth spammers and crazy people we get through the doors here:

http://forums.2000adonline.com/index.php/topic,33935.0.html

However, if you just get stuck into the forums they'll be lifted before you've realised.

Ah... I see, not a problem, just thought I was being dumb!

Anyway!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

I have just finished the Hunger Games, really enjoyed them and that third book covers some pretty brutal topics.

I work as a vet nurse... I actually get asked for repeat prescriptions of those ''little white ones'' around three or four times a week. :o
