"For me, this is the most disappointing entry in the Judge Dredd Mega Collection so far, which is perhaps a mark of how high the bar 2000AD has set itself is."

But!! The Heavy Mob!!

Ha! Yeah, point taken - I said for me Shimura's the most disappointing as I didn't have to review The Heavy Mob, me and Kudos have taken turns reviewing the Mega Collection and he got that one ;)

What a great day! Su and everyone did a fantastic job, and I must say I was a bit intimidated by all the judges. It's a bit weird not being able to tell who you all are!

I think it's going to be 10 episodes for season 2. Which I don't mind, I'd rather quality over quantity and frankly I'm just relieved we're getting a second season ;)

Here's my review: http://www.sidekickcast.com/judge-dredd-mega-collection-10-shimura/

TLDR as a relative noob and one who hasn't come across any Shimura stories before, this one was a bit of a struggle for me...

Oh internet you tricksy medium you, will you ever learn to reliably communicate sarcasm?

Ha! In my defence, I'm only on my first cuppa...

Thank you very much, glad you liked it!

Ha! You're right, the film and Urban Warfare do make great companions to each other.

A bit disappointed that 4 posts have passed and no one has pointed out that they have not yet received their issue 1/2/3 etc.

Why? I mean I haven't received mine yet, but I only subscribed a week ago and it's very clear that it can take up to a month for them to arrive.

Absolutely loving this show, no idea why it hasn't been picked up here. Apparently it's available to watch legally on abc.com, which obviously has the added advantage that watching it there will bump up viewing figures and hopefully lead to it being renewed and picked up over here.

I really really hope that PJ Maybe's in the collection somewhere, I know there are new PJ stories which I don't have in the GN and he's one of my favourite characters.

Really enjoyed this. And loved that I got to include a gif from Clue in my review. It's the little things, you know? http://www.sidekickcast.com/urban-warfare/

I really fancy this but I already own a copy of Incubus (which I love) and I've been told the Pred stories aren't that great so a bit undecided really. Maybe if I see a cheap copy going somewhere...
