That link actually provided more information than I'd gleamed from imdb.com and general net scouring.

But the point still remains - this film will rock mightily [backslash]m/ :D

General / Re: Cancel my subscription!..........

The only problem I've ever had during my subscription was down to a database error that made a couple of Progs late. I sent an email and the problem was quickly rectified, so no complaints from me.

The point remains though, even when complaining there's no need to insinuate the staff are mentally retarded - mistakes are bound to happen now and again, you just have to deal with it in a professional manner. Considering the number of Squaxx out there (not to mention the problems that arise as a result of late deliveries and printing errors and the like), I think the subs peeps are doing a helluva job.

Now if only the postal service would be as reliable...

I think my WH Smiths carries them now, but they don't get all that many in. It was the same situation with the Batman Legends collected editions.A subscription is a much easier method of getting hold of copies.

I agree though, with better distribution I'm sure the EE's would sell really well.

In excellent condition too. That's my only one so far...

I'm not sure if I bought any progs when I was younger, and I'm now owner of my cousins 2000AD annual from 1985. I didn't start collecting until 1302 (a late started, I admit), with a subscription from the 1330's or thereabouts.

I wouldn't be a squaxx if it hadn't been for the wave of nostalgia that washed over me a couple of years back - I'd just gotten back into Transformers and thought that tooth every week would be a nice bonus... and it still is :)

Classic...

Oh it's been getting so hard
Living with the things you do to me
My dreams are getting so strange
I'd like to tell you everything I see

Oh and see a man at the back as a matter of fact
His eyes are as red as the sun
And the girl in the corner let no one ignore her
Cause she thinks she's the passionate one

Oh Yeah! It was like lightning
Everybody was fighting
And the music was soothing
And they all started grooving

Yeah, Yeah, Yeah-Yeah-Yeah
And the man in the back said everyone attack
And it turned into a ballroom blitz
And the girl in the corner said boy I want to warn you
It'll turn into a ballroom blitz
Ballroom blitz, ballroom blitz, ballroom blitz, ballroom blitz

Or there's The Sweet's other most popular song...

IT'S A BLOCKBUSTAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

I like the fact that they had to include "animals" in that list... in fact under any possible changes to the law, that's the one that should stay put!

I've actually had to go out and buy the Prog now, as it's Thursday and I STILL haven't received my copy in the post. Anybody else had troubles?
