Death of Dredd doesn't even rate a cover? Come on. Maybe we're addressing the fact that Joes retirement age. Prog 2000, a revamp for the series, perhaps. Replacing Dredd with Rico doesn't keep the continuity of the legend. Its gonna have to be cleverer than that.

some of the artwork in the penzance riggers episodes was a bit dire. but still definitely a fan of the english "crumpled" look. also loved the jensen clan.

my first prog was 17.wow a t-rex with three guys heads! managed to track down the many missing progs before the starlord merge. and now regularly fish out a rich seam of a few hundred progs,(stuff that hasnt been read for a few years). currently re-reading from prog 330, the first slaine stories, now in the middle of nemesis the gothic empire. ahh this stuff never gets old.

:-*does anyone else see the value in collected editions of starlord and tornado? after all, they only went twenty two issues each. I for one would love to get ahold of those.

I remember spotting prog 1 on the stand of our local newsagent and being told by my mother,"oh you dont really want that!". It wasnt till a few months later that prog 17 featuring a tyrannosaur with three human heads on the cover, jumped out at me and my whinging paid off. What eleven year old could walk past that!
