No worries, maybe I'm just not at my best at the start and end of the day...

Not sure the bits in between are my best times either...

Poetry. Sheer bloody poetry.

I know you shouldn't laugh. But I did. Irony defined.

Yeah, I posted this late last night, I should have paused before hitting enter, but foolishly, after a long day at work, I thought I could get it posted before I could sleep.
But thank you for the patronising response, it has been most helpful, and I’m sure it will hasten the resolut On if this issue dramatically.
I hope you have Avery enjoyable day, and the feeling of smugness keeps you warm and fuzzy during its lulls.

Hello, not sure if this is the right part of the Forum, but I just wanted to make Tharg aware of a little spelling error in the lists of quotes on page three, it should be Mookychick (https://www.mookychick.co.uk/feminism/uk-feminism/halo_jones.php).
I know it can't be changed on this edition, but it'd be nice to see it corrected in any future printings. I'm sure there will be future printings...

There was cut out and keep mini comic that began in issue 300, which would be about half the size of the original, it could be that.

Due to life, I've not been able to spend as much time as I'd like on this and I've had to cut corners, and, well, not paint it as much as I'd like... Anyway, here's Rogue and his boys...

It's remarkable how stunning the entries have been this month and so good to see them all together...

1: -MikeD-2 - Ambushed by Death – Incredible.
2: james newell - The Full Weight of the Law – Just such a wonderful image
3: Alan Byrom1 - Killed by Death – Nice Watchman homage
4: Mark Higgins - Judge Dead – Clean and well balanced.
5: David Timoney - Down Among the Dead Men – Reminds me of an Annual cover from the Eighties.

HM
Alan Byrom2 - We Pizen'd Him Good Ratty! I remember when Ratty Jnr. sh*t on Dredd’s lawmaster….
JTPegg – Peanuts – Reminds me of a Steve Dillon sketch.
SaintofKillers - Death of Dredd – A really well balanced image

As far as what this means for the comp - we carry on this month but in the future we'll have to see.

See, this is exactly what I was afraid was going to happen... :/

Me too, I don't get the time to draw that often, and I like that a competition like this gets me thinking about different subjects and ideas. It gives me some sort of purpose for drawing every month, even if I rarely get the chance to get anything done to submit, I'm always thinking of ideas to submit, every month. I, for one, would miss this contest.

Blimey, first chance I've had to enter this year and it's all a bit shouty. (Also, as an aside to another conversation, I've also wondered if Mark is a relation to John, especially as I had a strong vibe of John's style from his entry a couple of months ago...)

Anyway, feeling a bit rusty as I don't get to draw much. But here's my 'mean' entry...

Here's my go, Steelhorn, aka THE MESS! (Which is not the most optimistic title for a piece of art...)

Incredibly good entries, and from some really good stories too.

Here's my entry. It's another example of the picture looking better in my head than my hands can create. I'd like to think I can revisit this and do it justice before the closing date, but I barely have the time to draw just recently. :(

Hewligan's Haircut.
