I am new to the Forum but not Mega City Book Club...which is wonderful!

Thanks for the welcome! Not Philly but sunnier by the day right now.

I have heard tell that I should have a "profile" link or button but I do not seem to have. I am on a Mac using Safari and Chrome. Any help anyone could offer would be much appreciated.

I started listening to Space Spinner 2000 only this morning and I am very much enjoying it so far. I find Podcasts (particularly 2000ad related ones) to be the best thing to take my mind off the LA commute.

I'm nearly 50 and only now thanks to the Forum do I get "Rogers & Hammerstein". Perhaps that's what happens when you grow up listening to The Clash and Joy Division...or I'm just a lot dimmer than I realize.

I also just read "To Cool to Kill" and very much enjoyed it but must confess to finding the idea of 10 more a bit daunting. Also though, what was with the Charlie Adlard section? It looked like a photocopy of a photocopy...

I understand I may still be on the Mighty Tharg's probationary list, any chance I can get full access? I have gotten responses I cannot find again and posts I cannot find at all. Unlike young master Potter I do promise I am not up to no good.

Ay-up

I realize all of this was a month or so ago now but I'm from South Yorkshire and now live in Southern California where it is near impossible to get anything 2000ad related, so thank you interwebs and the month of July (when 2000ad are gamely at SDCC).

Growing up in the 70's I had only British comics, I'm pretty sure the first DC or Marvel I read was The Dark Knight Returns, I remember not knowing who Harvey Dent was.

Should anyone find themselves in LA, at a loose end and in need of beers and a chat about the Prog do let me know.

Hello Citizens!

I am a Prog one-r who lapsed in the 90s but have been playing catch up for last few years having chatted with 2000ad's own Mike and Ben (both lovely) at Comic-Con a few years ago. How often is something as good as you remember it from childhood? Blake's 7 I am looking at you.

I have never signed up to a forum before now.

Cheers
