First time through, it was on 'Normal' funnily enough....
I've since dabbled with 'Hard' but to be honest, its' re-playability factor is low.
Anyway, the single player option was never my intended path, but even if I was about to throw more money away on a Gamespy subscription, they don't seem to be supporting Dredd Vs Death now anyway.
If anyone knows of an independant host that's regularly offering up Dredd Vs Death, please let me know.
Also, there was a distinct lack of press re: the linear style of the game, I guess I'm not alone when I say that a bit more freedom would have been good, if not essential.
Obviously it was going to be difficult to live up to the expectations of Dredd fans who were also regular gamers, but who else was likely to buy this game ?
I've found that grabbing the Judge skins for Unreal Tournament has been considerably more entertaining, even without 'Rag Doll' technology !
I'd be interested to know what Shorelines' plans are now, and if any further games are going to made in conjunction with the film production (assuming it's still going ahead). You know, like the Starwars titles, most of which had scenes and scenarios developed simulataneously between the game producers and the film producers. For example in 'The Phantom Menace' on the PSX (still essentially a linear game) it was possible to explore the village on Coruscant at length, meeting many characters not included in the movie.
These are the kind of touches that make the difference between 'longevity' and 'flash in the pan'.
I'm ranting again, dammit.
