It's all about price information - it's not hard to discover how cheaply the prog is available in mint condition but the amazing thing about ebay is how people won't look for other price sources before bidding.

There's quite a big 2000ad market on ebay and decent quality early progs can go for silly values at times (and also for bargins).  I suggest taking a look at it to get an idea of values - a direct link is here:

I quite like em.  But I'm not sure they'll make anyone buy 2000AD/the Meg.  I like the Norwegian one above Dredd too but I'd never buy her comic (if she has one).  Don't think the stories are ones that will make people buy the mag but I'm sure I'm wrong!
