"I'm counting the hours to you wig out and start randomly insulting people and the axe falls..."

Hmm, oh about five minutes tops.

Hee hee.

Hello, it's me scojo! Remember me? I wrote some Dredd screenplays and used to post inoffensive posts. And I should be the next James Bond too. Heh. How are we all? Doing well? Good. Nice to see you all again.

I guess I will be banned again so perhaps I should leave before the Shoosh hits the fan.

See ya and keep reading 2k. Jason Kingsley needs the money for his pension.

See, Shooshi, I got you on the website board. Five years and I did it.

You owe me for that, big time.

I better leave now. Ahem.

And if you see Gordon Rennie, tell him that Dredd usually says "Dredd to control," not "Dredd - Control." Always annoyed me, that.

Bye,

Love and kisses

Well there is proof the devil exists... see the geezer with the bad eyebrows.

LOL

Only provoking debate. Sheesh. I will go back to debating Flood's 13 and empty Dreddcon chairs instead.:P  Stimulate a debate? I got more chance of stimulating an errection here! LOL Hee hee.

Pah. And remember folks, Charles H Hardwidge is proof God exists and has a warped sense of humour.

:)

This is Robert Patrick saying goodnight.

Goodnight.

I dunno, am I the only way that feels like this. If there is an after life I want to speak to God and say "just quit with the shit you keep dishing out on Earth. I've just had enough. Just stop - end it. No more earthquakes, hurricanes. If you want man and woman to die, leave 'em alone. They tend to fight as it is. They don't need you sticking your nose in and killing a few hundred thousand every few months."

This God has got be held accountable. Seriously, if there is no Devil (I don't really believe in that) but if there's a God the person/thing/energy force has to be held accountable for its crimes against humanity committed on Earth. Just because it creates life doesn't give it the excuse to end it for no logical reason.

Enough, God. Stop this killing right now. Give mankind a breather. Respect the thing you've created, don't kill innocent children. What point is that?

The whole thing pisses me off at a profound level. Life, what a sick joke it is. Either God is inherently evil or it's like man, and deeply flawed. Either way I ain't impressed.

Life is a sick dream, folks. We're just balls in the lottery of life and God takes out a few when he/she/it feels like and says, "sorry, mate, time is up. Time to die."

If we're put on Earth to love then the guy in charge wants to spread misery. I'm bored with all this love nonsense, God says, let's kill a few kids.

Life is a nightmare if you really think about it. Best not do because the very thing that created us could be inherently evil. That is the most frightening thought of all. God could be evil or not 100 percent good and pure. And then we're all doomed because we're slaves to an evil entity. God could be some variation on Judge Death. Geez - let's not even think about that.

Hope no-one minds this post but it's off topic so I think it's fair game. I'm not religious as such but I sort of believe in God or some energy force that creates life - be it electrons, atoms whatever. I must say I am frankly pissed off if there is a God because I dunno it's just a freak bad year but we've had the Tsunami, the hurricanes in the US, and now a terrible earthquake in Pakistan. Children crushed to death in their schools. Way to go, God.:(

If there is a God, frankly he's seriously overrated. I get the picture, God, you can take people's lives. Well done, you get your Blue Peter badge. How about giving the earthquakes, the tidal waves, the hurricanes, the diseases, a rest eh? Go do the gardening instead.

Seriously, if there is a God I really don't care much for the guy or woman. The whole 'God creates life/ we must love God' concept is flawed. Sorry, God, you kill people, I don't. I guess that makes me better than you. I doubt he could get the better of that argument.

Sorry for the rant but all these disasters are getting me down. How anyone can respect a God that seems to allow all this awful stuff to happen is a mystery.

Rant over.

I wonder if some terrible individual did it on purpose as a wicked practical joke? The timing of the fire and release of the film in the US seem more than a coincidence. But I guess odd coincidences happen more often than we think.

I am surprised some fans don't like it. After the gritty stuff seen in Mandroid and Blood Trails, it's wonderful to read a Dredd story that harks back to the golden era of Dredd. The reason I love Flood's 13 is because it reminds me of the 1980s Dredd strips - the ones with the zany humour and crazy action. Flood's 13 has this insane quality to it and shows us just how mad Mega-City 1 is.

I like Dredd stories that show the madness in MC-1 as much as the violence. All writers can write violent stuff but Wagner is a master at the absurd. Dredd tends to work best when there is an element of the absurd.

Prog / Flood's 13 was classic old school Dredd!

What a great story Flood's 13.

Great action, a semi-homage to an old film, the hilarious Branch Moronian cult, skysurfers, comedy,  and a great end line from Dredd. What more could you want?

10 out 10. Worth the wait to read it. Well done, John Wagner.

News / Sisters of Death are back!
06 October, 2005, 05:48:44 PM
Not sure if people have mentioned this rather signficiant Dredd-related news, but the penultimate page of this month's Dredd Megazine had a preview of the new Anderson story, which features the Sisters of Death. This is fantastic news because I've always wanted to see them return. Perhaps it will lead into a new Necropolis story - a follow-up?

Great news. Can't wait to see what Alan Grant does with the characters.:)

Hope no-one minds me saying this, but these pitch-fest photos are unintentionally hilarious.

Matt Smith:
"And the winner of pitch-fest is James Smith. Yes, he won with an idea called 'how to empty a room in 20 seconds'."

LOL

Hmm....

Bit empty in the pitch-fest room!

Was there a fire alarm going off at the time? LOL

Sorry, just a joke.
